Anyone got any opinions on getting cosmetic surgery for breast enhancements?

Hey!

I have no problem with breast augmentation.  If you are flat chested and have a complex about it, why not get biogger ones.  What I don;t like seeing is the ridiculously huge mammas on little bodies.  It looks ugly to me.

Hope this helps!

If I had the money I'd do it! Apparently there are lunch hour surgeries you can do now, where they inject your own fat into your boobs, from your bum. But it only lasts a year and I think its really expensive.

But if I could I would, so if you can afford it, go for it!

hey peeps
Im so intrigued by this subject...I have big boobs(not massive but I feel too big for my bodyshape), and Id love to have smaller but Ive done a fair bit of research and seen the scarring that it leaves behind from a reduction. I always find it fascinating why people want bigger ones, perhaps its a case of always wanting what we dont have? who knows!
All I do know is, as Ive gotten older, they are surely but slowly heading south!

Fiona,

i think it is the grass is always greener syndrome.  My mother actually had her breast reduced as hers were pretty big naturally.  It was done a long while ago, 5 years or so and her scars are still very obvious around her nipple and under her breasts. So just thought i would give you first hand experience there with what she had, but to my mother, she is so happy she had them reduced, she feels sexier and happier to fit into tops she normally wouldn't.

Hope this helps!

my mom had breast cancer, and had a double mastectomy. (She's
absolutely fine now!) But when she had her boobs reshaped, she asked to
have them made smaller. The doctor said she was the only patient in his
experience to ask for them made smaller! She's much happier with the
size. Although there is still alot of scarring. I didnt inherit her big boobs,
but the less thats there for the cancer to find, the better i guess!

hey peeps
Thanks Issy for your message...how was your Mum after the op? was she in alot of pain?
I would love to have smaller ones, but I think I would be too scared to go through with the operation.
oCanada - sorry to hear about your Mums cancer, but really pleased she is happier now and I hope she is in full remission now.
I bet the Doctor laughed to himself when she asked to have them made smaller! It is very rare I guess!!

has gel in the cups, it helps a lot! though it is a surprise when the bra
comes off for whoevers wathching! but i dont like the idea of surgery.

hey peeps
Issy...thanks for your message, glad your Mum had a speedy recovery and yes I do think the scars are there for life. But I guess the main thing, is she is happier and in remission...and thats the most important thing of all.
I think I will just have to stick with what I was given and learn to be happy with them!
