Hi Whittle, I don't know how you feel about natural/alternative therapies when it comes to HRT/menopause but my mother refused to take any HRT stuff due to the increase in breast cancer amongst HRT users. SHe used natural progesterone to balance out her hormones as the synthetic stuff is not very good for you as a woman. I mean, what is good for my mother, may not be good for another lady, so I am just suggesting some research. there are great books such as, what your doctor doesn't tell you book series and one in particular is what your doctor doesn't tell you about menopause. I just think that what we put in our bodies may have future effects on us. I know I take reductil etc sometimes the risk outweighs what may come so I am in no way enforcing the natural way... I just like to practise different methods of healthcare I guess. Hope this helps. Issy x

Thank you Issy, yes that has definitely given me food for thought. I have an appointment with my doctor on Friday so I will bring that up. I'm all for natural remedies as long as they are effective. I haven't got any breast cancer history, so that shouldn't be a problem, thank you for the tip...

I find that very interesting about the HRT. And what you said whittle about taking natural remedies if they are effective. I have seen a kinesiologist before and they were able to tell me if the medicines and supplements were actually helping and there were 1 or 2 that werent effective as my body didn't need it. No need to take something if you don't need it! Disco x
