I'm going to Portugal for a few days in April and I'm terrified of revealing my white body! I know tanning booths are really bad for you, but are there any new ones that are safer now? I haven't been on one since 2003! I find fake tan from a bottle on my body always looks fake.

I can understand you wanting to get a base before heading to the brutal sun.. I would do the same! BUT if you do make sure you build up, seriously, like 2 minutes first go, then 3 then 4, otherwise you will do skin damage. OR/// you can buy these pills from boots by imuran i think that is the name and it builds up the cells in your skin that produce the melonin (sp?) and it also makes your tan last longer and it is all natural. DON'T take those tan excellerator tabs you can get from Holland and Barratt... their supplements are full of crap fillers... like yeast etc... Hope this helps, Issy xx

If only Spring would finally arrive and you could get some colour here! Why don't you go for a professional fake tan application? They can sometimes sculpt muscles with tan, so they must be good! My very posh friend goes to heidi klein in notting hill. Lucky you going to portugal!

hi Cindy - Heidi Klein is a very swish swimwear designer. Even if I had the body for her bikinis, I couldn't afford them! But my very fancy friend goes to her shop, and they do spray tanning in there that she swears by. I'd really like to be able to turn my heating off at some point soon, it's getting ridiculous. And yes, I saw on the news last night, that they're aren't enough daffodils for mothers day. What is this world coming too. We'll probably be able to ski in Scotland this summer! WA

hey peeps I know what you mean about turning heating off! Although I am sure its been so much colder in Scotland than down south! We had temperatures this weekend of 14 degrees!!! Its not been anywhere near that for a long time! Maybe Spring has sprung finally! So did you sort the spray tan out Ocanada? Fi

have you tried the san tropez everyday range? I used it for the first time the other day and I got so many compliments. Ok so if you saw my ankles you would know immediately... but face, arms, chest, all very natural. My good friend visits Dove island quite often. And she has a lovely glow! And yes what fab weather this weekend! hope everyone had a lovely mother's day! xx
