Hey guys out there,

seems to be quiet on the forums, are you all on summer hols or something?? (not that it is very warm here!!)

I thought we could start a wee discussion on what we are doing to get our summer body on?? I know the world cup may keep us lifting beer to our mouths as our only work out but maybe we can motivate each other to try and ket in shape, so when those swimming trunks come out, or bikinis, we won't be SHY!!

I am not a big runner so I am rowing, and boxing and keeping a food diary... AND i got a hold of some reductil!!! so feeling positive I will hit realistic targets!!

Can't wait to hear from you,

DISCO xxx

Any recommendations?

I am have stepped up my training and planning meals, trying not only to eat less but changing my eating for good...

My goodness, I just can't feel energised by this anymore. You both are so
positive, and I realise how far I have fallen since I stopped taking xenical.
I hate myself for wanting to eat all the fatty foods I've denied myself for
so long. I just feel so far away from my forum friends. I've really fallen
behind and it's so depressing.

WHITTLE!!

step away from the fatty foods!!  I understand where you are, I have been there.  It's so frustrating but you have to understand where you are and WHY you are doing these things.

When you DEPRIVE yourself of the junk food we all LOVE, we then crave then a trigger is set off that we must eat all the food we love, our subconcious will then see that we are 'happy' by eating all the foods we have been depriving ourselves of and so the downward spiral begins.

YOU have to empower yourself to choose what you eat.  Have the doghnut, have the crisps, but you choose to then move on, and have a healthy dinner.

YOU must want to do this.  YOU can.

I know that I will have always  have a battle on my hands for the rest of my life, what is changing is my empowerment and the help of reductil!!

GO to reductilbymail. place your order, take control.

Whittle we all have ebb and flows. you got this girl!!

Come on, take control of your life.

Big love and keep talking to us!!!

Issy xx

I've thanked you already so many times...but thank you again Issy!
I've already reined in the eating, even though the reductil that I've ordered
isnt going to arrive for a few days. But there is barely a fattening food
that I havent eaten over the last few weeks, so I feel like I've gorged
myself on everything. Hopefully I wont crave anything going forward,
once I start the reductil again. Big doughy croissants were really my
weakness. I ate them everyday - they're quite cheap at my supermarket.
but no more from now on!

it's a step in the right direction Whittle!

Try and think of it this way, what i have realised about myself is when i deprive myself of something, there will come a time when i will go nuts and eat it till i pop, kinda like your doughy croissants...

Maybe you allow yourself one, just once a week... and for the rest of the day you are very good about your eating??? it may help to stop the vicious circle of depriving the going bananas and craving it till you can't control it??

I cannot say not to chips, especially fish andnchips, covered in salt and vinegar... everyfriday my partner who has the best metabolism ever (i hate him for it)
wants fish and chips...i cannot resist.  I get them but wont over eat.  that day i go to the gym, have a great workout, then i eat fish and chips, if i don't i make him give me a mouthfull of fish and handful of chips... so it's a reward system.... i dunno if it will work...but it's worth a try.

anyway whittle, when does your reductil order arrive?

im hoping that if i start taking some slimming pills like reductil i wont
have to exercise?
ever since i had an accident i havent been able to move around without
pain, so exercising isnt possible for me.
does reductil have to be taken in conjunction with exercise?

will it reduce my weight on its own?
sorry, if this question has already been answered on these forums before,
but i only just joined here. thank you!

To Rosie and Whittle,

you can always start, rosie, keep us updated and tell us how you are doing.  We will support everyone who needs it,so we will be here for you.

You can DO IT!!

Fatlotofgood, reductil will make you lose weight without exercising.  obviously you lose more if you exercise... but as you cannot it will curb your appetite.

will you always be in pain? can you do light yoga?

I think the only way that I can eat a little of what I fancy, as you
suggest Issy, is if I'm using Reductil. Because I have a little taste of it,
but I dont want to gorge myself on it. Xenical took a lot of willpower,
because I still felt hungry and had big cravings. But recently I just ate
for England. With absolutely no control. That's why I know my only
hope is reductil, so thank goodness reductilbymail started selling. It's
been very good timing for me indeed.
Fat lot of Good, I didnt exercise much to begin with and the weight still
came off. I then did start to do some yoga and I bought some hand
weights and went for the odd run. It must be difficult for you to be so
static.
