But I have had a friend who took Champix and it worked for them. He was 48 when he quit for good, having tried hynotherapy and other such things like the Stop smoking books. I think most of his friends - me included - were surprised that the Champix actually worked for him. I don't know where he bought it from, but you can get it from UKMedix here. Issy x    FatLotofGood 06-26-2010 @ 3:48 PM                           reply Member Joined: Jun 2010 that's very interesting. i might recommend that to a good friend of mine who has been struggling to give up. if nothing else, because it costs so much. ive never heard of champix and so i doubt she has either, otherwise we would have talked about it together. i might recommend that she comes on to this site and has a look. if the forums are anything like the reductilbymail ones for weightloss, then i bet they are good. i will tell her to check it out! There are so many success stories.  I know at least 2 friends who have tried it and have quit for good. It's an impressive medication! Issy x
