Hey ladies and Gents out there!!

How are we going to keep the winter bulge from creaping on??

I will kick it off here! Have bought a road bike and no longer drive to my gym! I cycle to work too.

Am feeling the benefits..

How are you all doing??

Disco xx

Good one disco!

i am continuing to row, it's tough on the cold mornings but great being in a team as it motivates me a lot, it's also really great seeing the belly slim down slowly!! but it's still helping being on the reductil!

Fingers crossed I won't put on a stone like last year!!

You are both so good! I'm still walking, walking, walking. Even if I sense
rain, I just get out there and go for at least half an hour everyday. The
worst that can happen is that I get wet! And I'm sticking to my yoga class
on Friday nights, and I'm always improving which is very heartening. I'm
also doing squats indoors whenever I remember. This year I am vowing to
keep my portions under control. And on Christmas Day I'm having one
meal and that's it!

hey Whittle,

I may sound good but am not always good!!  When the cold settles in, nothing beats the yummy stews and pies that are so comforting in winter.

Am finding it difficult to cycle when the weather is so bad, can be dangerous too. I try to be good on the days i cannot cycle but as we all know - sometimes you just need what you need!

But i am concious of being good this year, i dont want the post new years blues to kick in! Want to start the new year with a bang!!

Disco xx

im not always good either, sometimes if i have had a hard work out - it's like an excuse to eat whatever I want!!

It's an annoying trait of mine!

It's great that you are cycling disco - but be careful out there, some drivers just dont pay attention!!

Great news about the yoga Whittle , it's so beneficial and am pleased you can see yourself getting better, it's an amazing process!

Thank you Issy, I am enjoying it. And I like the other people in the
class. They are mostly women - just 2 men who are regulars - and I am
definitely the fattest of the bunch, but everyone is very sweet to me.
And a couple have commented on my weight loss so far and said how
healthy I am looking. I've really noticed how much easier its becoming
with less weight to try to balance with! Ive really been developing some
stomach muscles which have helped with my posture too. And the
breathing has been very relaxing. It's lovely to do an exercise routine
that has so many benefits!
Be careful if you're cycling tomorrow Disco - the weatherman said a
big storms on the way!

what a dreadful day! wretched weather out there!

It's so great Whittle when you notice yourself holding a posture better or engaging the muscles you haven't used before!! I was hill walking at the weekend and my glutes really took a beating - i was aching in places i didn't know you could ache in!!

I was indeed the chubbiest on the hill! but slowly and surely it won't be forever!

Hill walking is great - unfortunately there are no hills near me!
Now that I've lost three stone, I really do notice the loose skin. I wonder if
there's any exercise that can help with that, or if its has to be surgery, or
lived with..
