hi could anyone help? i have had a heavy period for 9 weeks,doc said to get a swob when stopped bleading,bleeding is bright red,dark red ,lots of clots and some times brown.any advice welcome

ugh, go and see your doctor again and demand a second opinion or a referral if they won't do anything about it themselves

try talking about this in the womens section or to your doc. sounds pretty rank and dangerous really.

Thanks for your advice,I have been and had a pelvic scan,And blood tests taken,Everything came back fine,So i have been offerd a hormone coil,Or a balloon inserted to burn the lining off my womb? Then i will not have any periods, Has anyone else had this done?
Or heard of this prodcedure?
