Hi, my name is Sue and I'm new!I've just realised that my user name in capitals looks like I'm shouting at you all- if I am, it's to say HELPPPP!
This is my very first day on reds - I saw my GP yesterday and he diagnosed an umbilical hernia which will require surgery. So, he's anticipating what the surgeon will say and has prescribed reds - 15mg
I spent all last night on t'internet and this site seemed the most supportive.I really like the diaries, seeing people's weight loss is really inspiring. As a newbie, there are a few queries you may be able to help me with.
Firstly, since I took the tab this morning I have had dreadful indigestion - is this a side effect and will it go as I get more used to the drug?
Secondly, I also take Prozac for depression - quite a large dose. The doctor didn't say anything about reducing it - is anyone else on anti-depressants and reds and if so, how do you feel?
Thirdly,I'm not sure whether to count calories or go for a low fat plan - my problem is deciding what to eat. If someone presented all my healthy meals to me I'd be fine - it's the choice that causes me problems. Can anyone recommend a health plan?
It's good to be writing this - I don't feel i'm on my own. Thanks for your time
