Hi out there, I have been on this forum for a bit and have been using Propecia for a long while. I have notices lately that a lot of guys have been coming on here with some worrying questions that can easily be answered. When you first realise that you may be going bald, a little early, we all freak out and feel sick with worry. I thought maybe we could halp the newbies by telling or own stories of how we came to use Propecia. Maybe by doing this we can help the new guys that come on here to understand that we have all been through it and there is something out there that can help. I look forward to hearing your stories. Joe

Well, I think this is a good idea; My father has a thinning hairline so inevitably I was to inherit the same hairline. By my mid 20s I was pretty thin (up top) and single and depressed. Work stress was making my hair fall out even more I swear! my brothers girlfriend mentioned propecia to me and though I was totally insulted that she thought I needed it, I actually was grateful that she pointed this out. Anyway, started taking them from there on out and am in my 30s and have stopped the balding dead in it's tracks for now. Fred

I started to thin when i started work, becuase of the stress. I started Prop after 6 months of realising i was balding on top, the friar tuck spot i call it. Never looked back!

Well my thinning was a result of an illness and the stress from my illness made my hair fall out. I was advised by my gp to go on propecia. So glad i did as I think hair grows back easier on a woman than a man. Don't know if that is true but i didn't want to risk it. I am self concious enough as it is!

Well I think i may be one of the oldest on here. I started using propecia years ago as thinning is inherent in my family. I took it really early beacause of how i saw my father thin. I guess it is an image thing for me. I didn;t want to be young and balding. I am at the age nopw that i woun't mind if I thin a bit. (well maybe in a few years) Pops

Alright? my story is that I am 23 and work in finance. Its a stressful job but I never thought that it would cause my hair to fall out. About 2 months ago I took action after someone made a joke about bald city workers (i, by no means amd bald!) but with hair falling out I knew that it would not be long before i was there. Anyway, 2 months on Propecia and seriously happy with the results. I have less hair loss and even can swear that I see fluff regrowth! Im ordering further supply so I can continue as I don't think that it is solely due to the stress and maybe it is some hereditary gene after all although my father is by no means bald or balding!
