I have just started Propecia.  I would love to know if the side effect that comes as a warning regarding the libido has effected any of you guys out there?

Propecia so far has not affected my libido one little bit! but to be honest I'm 23 and have only been on it for nearly 2 months.  this is something that would worry me if it came to it, so would also be interested in knowing if it really does affect a guys Libido - like not the 'side effects' warning but the actual real life experiences.

Thanks

I have been on propecia for a while, but I already had a little ED problem and actually had Viagra before I had Propecia...

So i wouldnt know if it were a side effect of Prop.  All i know is that it is a really small percentage in men who take Prop.  But i never heard anyone talking about it first hand here.

Thanks for your input here guys,

I already bought some but wanted some first hand experience.  it looks like you guys don;t mind taking Viagra anyway so if I am one of the small percentage facing ED issues, I guess bring on the Viagra huh?

I've been taking Propecia for about 2 years now. The hair has regrown on the crown area and the hair loss/thinning has all but stopped but is still thin. This is exactly what I expected.

I have not experienced a decrease in sex drive or any of the potential side effects. The regrown hair has actually increased my confidence and therefore increased my sex drive. I see a lot of negative comments about Propecia but I feel that the issue there is that people are apt to complain when something does not work but do not bother to contribute when something is working great for them (I work in customer support, so I know!). Propecia doesn't work for everybody and all the studies show this to be true; 80% stop hair loss and 40% regrow hair. There's really no way to tell unless you give it a shot.
