Hey every1, im new to the site

Iv been using propecia for 6 months and 3 weeks and its only just started working all of a sudden.

The thing is tho, iv had my hair short about a number 2 all time and stayed shedding. I started growing my hair about 5 weeks ago and now its a couple of inches long and iv just noticed im not sheading any of the long hairs at all (which is really good news) but im shedding hairs that are about a number 2 still, there also thinner and lighter than the long hairs

Does anybody have any understanding why this is?? Is this a good sign it will grow back thicker?

Has anybody had shedding followed by good results?

I have to say that i haven't been able to find out any info about the shedding and regrowth. is it gorwing back thincker since you posted?

its strange, it does feel thicker and is more manageable and the individual hairs look thicker, but i do look like i have less hair tho than last year, but this is bound to happen. Im shedding about only 3 of the long thicker hairs in the shower, compared to last year when i was losing about 10 -15, but im losing about 10 of these smaller thin hairs about the same length as i had it around 5 weeks ago, really making me wonder why. Only been on Propecia for about 6 1/2 months tho so iv still got time to wait for best results.

I do have one theory that these hairs where in the resting phase for at least since i last shaved my hair so they have not been growing and are falling out just now, HOPEFULLY going to be replaced with normal hair???

I'm not sure either mate. I've been on Propecia the same time as you, and
Ive also been losing less hairs - in the shower, on my clothes etc. At one
point people we always picking them off me.

This doesnt happen now. I never shaved my head so short, so I'm not
sure what the smaller hairs falling out could mean? Have you found any
other advice?
