I have moderate hair loss and based upon some research I have conducted it seems that smaller doses of propecia e.g 0.5 mg are nearly as effective as the standard 1 mg dose. Also taking the med every other day since its inhibition of 5AR type 2 seems to function for several days even at the 0.5mg level could be an idea?
Also would save alot of money given the price of propecia.

i have heard of halfing propecia at 1mg but i dont understand why that can work. Where did you hear that anyway? What stage of hair loss are you?
