I feel that I am still a bit young to be worrying about this but as days/ weeks/ months go by it seems to occupy my mind more and more. I am 25 and have quite a stressful job in the city. I have been working for the past 3 years and after the first 6 months I started noticing my hair in the sink, in the shower … when I ran my fingers through my hair more and more hair would come out. Where I work, the office atmosphere can be quite jokey and everyone picks on each others bad points. If someone had a huge spot someone would make a joke about it, the same about noticing hair falling out!
Am I too young to start taking Propecia? Will I be dependant on this for the rest of my life? Would stress still make my hair fall out even if I was on Propecia? Should I start sooner rather than later?
I am keen to hear peoples thought on my situation..
I think more people are in your situation than you think. Though you may think you are too young to be taking a hair replacement pill so many people even younger than you have started because everyone is different. I started losing my hair when I was still at University. I wish I had started Propecia sooner.
Obviously the first thing I would suggest is to consult your gp or get more information from this site. It can answer all your questions.
You can read loads of peoples testimonials on here to see that so many other guys are in your situation so try not to stress too much.
The sooner you take Propecia the more likely it is to work. That is a statistical fact. Some men have retained their hair completely because they started using it early enough...
