have been taking propecia for about two years now and i really think it works..I was only about 21 at the time but was receding at the temples going into my front.I have noticed a definite large slowing down of this thinning at the front it is still receding but probably about 75% slower. The main way i noticed was because the thinning has NOT spread to the sides, top or back of my head. Another way i noticed was because i started to recede alot sooner than some of my friends and they have now 'over taken' me in terms of the amount they have receded. However one downside is a small reduction in sex drive but i think due to the higher testoserone apparantly found in men who recede it may have just taken me down to an 'average' level. On the whole however this small downside to me is worth it.
