has anyone ever had any side effects from propecia?

They say that it could lower your sexual desire but noone has ever really said this.

i have just started propecia and becuase i read that article it's on my mind that i may not be able to perform as well which spycologically may mess with me but if noone has really had this side effect maybe i need to put it out of mind...

help...

The side effects are so low.  There isn't much evidence to support the lowering of sexual desire.  Reading the articles on this site state that it is so rare that there are actual side effect.

If you worry about it you will no doubt have performance anxiety anyway.  Try and put it out of your mind!

read the articles on here i think it will put your mind at ease!

The official line is that Propecia could cause a reduction of erectile function in less than 1% of men but this is probably exaggerated. It always disappears when you stop using the drug and very often is just temporary.

If you use the Propecia drug don't even think about the effect it may have on your erectile function because it'll just make you nervous and stressed about your sexual performance.

Look at the following article which established the effect of Propecia in an independent study done on over 17,000 men.

Thanks Smitty, there have been a few worrying posts recently, and I've
been happy taking propecia, so it's good to know the side effects are so
low. Especially because ED can be pschyosomatic.
