Hi I've been using propecia for nearly 6 months now and I purchased it off DRM. Although my hair loss is acute at the moment I haven't really noticed much of an effect (if any at all) and I am wondering if anyone had advice on the questions below:

1) Should I switch supplier and try another 6 months to see if there is a difference?

2) Can I check the authenticity of the tablets with Merck?

3) What is the success rate of propecia? Can anyone suggest an alternative treatment?

4) Weirdly, if I have been out drinking heavily then hair loss seems to accelerate/worsen? Is there a relationship between the two? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

hey pascal,

http://www.ukmedixplus.co.uk/forum/viewmessages.cfm/Forum/11/Topic/3600/mt/General/tt/UkMedix%20Admin-%20Genuine%20UK%20Medicine

some people find that using it with regaine works but to be honest it works well with me on its own so i cant really recommend any otyher treatments..

hope that helps

Thanks

My hair loss seems to be progressing around the temple regions whereas the rest of my hair is fine, maybe thicker since the treatment. I think I will go for another 6 months and try the combination. If there is an improvement with the combination is it possible to maintain that with just the propecia or is it both forever?

hey pascal,

from what ive heard it shouls be a temporary mix of the two as regaine is a kind of shampoo that stimulates hair regrowth and prop is a pill that works deeper into the cause however as i mentioned i didnt really try regaine i went straight for propecia and it worked well for me.

Maybe you should try switching supplier just to be safe? im not sure that you should be continuing hair loss on propecia - that sounds a bit dodge.

Anyway, i hope the mix helps if you try it and wish you all the best.

Cant comment on the authenticity of Propecia though I can confirm that drinking definately accelerates hairloss as do drugs. I found this out to my horror during a week long holiday in Ibiza though the hair has made a full recovery since!
