Also - want to know why do I have to use contraception whilst on Propecia? and is there any particular type.  Any views on this?

Got views on this one too...

It affects development of babies in females and so is bad for them.

They recommend condoms as the form of protection apparently.  thsi is bcos it passes in the semen.

it seems that any contraception is ok; but condoms are the recommended choice. dont really know the reasons of this but presume that it is to do with the propecia being transferred.

i think you have to use condoms if the female is pregnant, but otherwise any contraception is ok.

ive been on and off propecia for the last two years.

you want to be careful about unprotected sex - its always better to have protected sex as i was told from my trichologist and GP. Finastride as the active ingredient harms the development of a foetus in a woman - bearing this in mind you hopefully see that there is a negative correlation between Propecia and Sex...

Dont take it from me though you can obviosuyl do what u want be it would be no harm to have a natter with your GP etc - all the best Gaz
