just started taking Propecia at the young age of 61 .. do I really need to use contraception with my wife? i think she is a bit past the age of conception.  Does anyone know if Propecia will actually affect her health?

I am a user, and am sure the whole propecia and contraception issue is based around the active ingredient.

\Apparently it can damage the phoetus or the potential phoetus.

Thats why they say women shouldn't handle, and men having sex who could potentially get a bun baking in the oven should put a rain coat on.:)

cryptic eh....?

Bonnie_jr - are you being rude - I cant quite get you - however; as an explanation i will let you know that I am in fact now 62 and still on Propecia as I am an actor and my hair is important in my career. My hair has helped me alot with my job as an actor and in fact I have no doubt that you will have seen me on tv.  Lets leave it at that.

And a note for  Kayastar/Vicky (little britain) - dont be worried unless youre getting yourself pregnant - (quite likely)
