I've heard of headaches being quite common with Cialis. I've heard that Viagra can affect colour vision and bring on heart attacks in sever cases - you need to know how prone you are to heart attacks. Cialis does stay in the blood stream much longer. everyone racts differently hought, and you might not get any side effects at all - I haven't yet.

I read there was a 26% chance of heart attack with Cialis, but I think that it depends on how prone you are like you said Pod17. YOu just have to make sure you are being prescribed something that is going to help you not hinder you right? T

If you do get a headache, I was told it was ok to take a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication after, or at the same time as the ED pill that you're on. It's said that as long as you don't take more than the prescribed dose, then it's very unlikely that you'll have any cardiovascular problems. Tempting to go overboard if it's not working, but obviously dont abuse the dosage, or you'll be in trouble.

hello Ive just read this post and was very scared after seeing that Viagra can cause heart attacks - is that a known side effect? or does that mean people with a preexisting condition should be wary of taking it? nothing was mentioned about heart attacks from my doctor. Should I go back and ask? I dont have any heart problems(touch wood) and I really dont want to either. Very worried about this now. DP

No Derek - I think that viagra won't increase the risk of a heart attacks, its been proven to be safe. I heard that for a while, doctors were told not to prescribe it to people who had heart conditions. But now I think it's only not prescribed to people who have recently had a heart attack, or are at very severe risk. I havent got any heart probs, so I cant really comment, so def ask your doc. But I did find this online - might help soothe your stress..... Researchers at Virginia Commonwealth University in the US found that Viagra administered to patients after a heart attack stopped apoptosis, a condition where heart muscle cells kill themselves in the wake of a heart attack, and helped to restore bloodflow and tissue healing. cheers, P

I haven't had any side effects either, and I'm using Cialis. So its probable santiago that if you did the switch to cialis you'd not have any side effects either, as you haven't with Viagra. I think these meds are very fine tuned. They're so popular and I think side effects are very rare. Cheers P
