Took my first 10mg dose of cialis lat night and can report that it worked - I think. My erection didn't seem much harder than usual but it did stay up much better ie. for much longer. I have also had 2 further erections without any stimulation. Also have to say though that my orgasm wasn't brilliant but that might be because (a) I was quite tired and (b) I was thinking about having taken the medication, not really sure. I have some 20mg tabs and given that I haven't experienced any side effects I'm going to try one of those next. Will report back within a couple of days. Hope this info proved helpful to others.

I too have taken it for the first time. Split a 20mg pill in two; took one half one evening and the other the next as the previous night wasn't to be. Like yourself, I have been able to stay harder longer and luxuriate in the moment without feeling I have to get on with it for fear of losing wood. For the same reason, and thus because I could take my time, edging, building up to it, my orgasm was pretty damn good.
Side-effects? One, I think, so far. My sleep seems to be affected. Waking to a slightly over-caffeinated sensation at odd hours of the night: no head-aches, no indigestion, no congested nose/sinus, just that wide-awake but with not enough sleep fizz. Days are fine.

Have already decscibed this experience in another thread but thought it might be useful here too - have copied and pasted it:
I went to the doctor and he prescribed 10 mg Cialis. I got 4 tablets on prescription - for £6.95 (btw does anybody know how long i can keep getting it on prescription?) After being very nervous about it I took it last night. I found it took about two hours to work but I foolishly ate beforehand (we were on a date!) But the good news is it did work - after a couple of false starts. There was defintely the placebo effect - I did feel less worried that I was going to fail this time. But the quality of erection was definitely better and I was much more in control of when I came (maybe because I didn't need as much stimulation to begin having sex as usual?). Also I found the "morning glory" was was stronger than normal as well which made me confident I could go again in the morning - unfortunatley there was no time though so I couldn't say for certain.
I was worried about the side effects(the only ones I can report are a small throb in my head - not really a headache - and feeling a little muggy)and whether I would always need this medication to have sex. But my view is life is short and if you're not going to have sex then you're missing out on a big aspect of it - especially when the solution is pretty safe I think. I would be interested to hear if people, after having my experience, stopped using the medication or whther they felt that they would be on it for ever now?
To calm your worries I would go to the doctor - mine was really lovely about it. He/she will take ur blood pressure, check ur urine for diabetes and have a look at ur penis and the area around it. If you can't bear the thought of this then I would just buy it at the normal price - but to be honest it helped me going to the doctor because it was good to talk about it out loud and he calmed me about the side effects.
By the way I'm about to become 38 and I definitely feel that age has a big part to play. Hope this helps.

i have some difficulties caused by effects from other medication. decided to have a test run before my girlfriend came for a visit. I'm roughly 100 lbs so I only took 5mg as I didn't exactly obtain this by doctors orders. It was somewhat effective but I experienced a terrible headache after about 6 hrs.
I am not sure if increasing the dose for more efficacy will also cause my headache to be worse, or if it will be the same headache with other side effects. any advise would be appreciated.

I've been taking the 20 mg Cialis (I'm 6'-4" and 240 lbs) on a fairly regular basis (1 - 3 times per week) for a little over year now, and while I initially had some side effects like turning beet-red in the face, and the occasional mild headache, those stopped occurring after a short time. I treated the headaches pre-emptively by taking a single 325mg aspirin tablet along with the Cialis; but I don't seem to need that any more. No other side effects.

I've had the occasional headache too, but then I suffer from them every
once in a while anyway. I've not had any bad side effects. I dont turn beet
red. But I exercise pretty regularly, so I get blood pumping round my
body quite a lot. I wonder if that makes a difference?
I dont take them as regularly as you though - you must be spending a
fortune!

I think if youve got high blood pressure its harder to get an erection.
I think exercise helps lower high blood pressure.
therefore - not that I am a speciialist or anything - I think exercise helps
any situation.
If you're on meds for ED, exercising regularly and keeping blood pressure
down is going to help the med work.
