I am 62, in reasonably good healt, although overweight.  I can attain an erection but if often does not sustain.  I recently took levitra and it seems to help me sustain an erection through climax.  however, it doesn't last quite as long as I'd like.

After my first climax and some rest (1/2 to 1 hrs)  stimulation, (including oral) only results in a partial erection that does not last long enough for penetration.  Even continued oral stimulation does not allow me to climax.  I greatly enjoy the pyschologial and physical aspect of being orally pleased, but cannot maintain an erection during my partner's attempts to make me climax.  It is somewhat frustrating for me (and her).

I took 10 mg of Levitra and did experience a slight headache and congestion, but not serious.  I also drank wine and will skip any alchohol the next time.

Do the affects of Levitra disapear after the first climax, which would negate any affects of the drug still in my system to allow subsequent erections?

I am no expert but alcohol is not going to do you any favours.

It could have actually been the cause of the headache-many have described this when alcohol and viagra have been taken together.

I guess it could be the same for Levitra?

Also While I am sure Levitra is still in your system for a few hours beyond sex, there are others that may be more suited to you such as cialis.

Most people experiment a little and find their niche, but I am sure attempting it with out any alcohol will make a huge difference...
