I appreciate that due to the calories involved if you are dieting you should avoid alcohol as much as is possible.

With Reductil are there any side effects - good or bad? Will Reductil surpress my appetite for food and alcohol?

TIA

Kevin

In my experience, I didn't fancy either.... BUT when I
do drink I have to be really careful because the
hangovers are LIKE ELEPHANTS, DANCING TO A TUNE THAT
ONLY THEY KNOW IN YOU HEAD

Perhaps it's the reduced food, or the fact that you
aren't drinking as regular as before the reds, but the
after effects are worse than without them.

I don't usually suffer after drinking, but after a
night out on Friday (drinking less than I would on any
other night) it took me until 7pm on Saturday to
recover.

You can drink... of course you can... just be careful
and be aware that it's not just the extra calories -
you could end up losing the next day to the hangover
from hell!

Good - I hope that I don't really fancy a drink or have a few and that's enough as it will really help my calorie reduction.

Thanks for your answers.

hi, one of the strangest things was i don't even look at the vodka bottle, have had 2 smirnoffs since i started this 11 weeks ago and that is really weird. i only really miss lager when i go out to watch football and as it's closed season i'm hoping i'll be over the worst by kick off in august!! i have started having the new Carling 99 calories bottles on a friday and saturday because i do like a drink at the weekend. they're not too bad after the first couple of sips. but i have to be honest most times i just don't fancy it. so see how you go and good luck!!
p.s meant to say you can google sites to find out how many calories and units are in your favourite tipple and work it in to your diet if you find you don't suffer side effects. hope that helps.

Hi there
another newbie, I've been on reds for four weeks now, I don't
normally drink much anyway but even if I do I have never had a
hangover in my life. Until this week!!!  I  was so ill after three small
glasses of wine, next day was sick could not wall straight and felt
like I would pass out.  can only blame the reds which I had taken a
lot later than usual. I am def not going to br drinking whole on them
( tho I may try one glass and see how it goes!!)

This is so strange my colleague has rung me this am concerned that she has had h drink spiked because she cant go to work because she feels like she has been kicked in the head, told her it must be the reds that have caused her to have such an hangover.
