hi all, I'm new here today and hope to profit from your expierences and support. And I hope I will be able to give the same back ;-) My question - I am on Reductil for almost 2 month. The first month was great - what I always wanted / needed kicked in - suddenly food didn't dictate my day to day life anymore! As if the word was wiped out of my vocabulary and my brain! I felt great... than... from one day to the other I started binging again! what went wrong? Doc prescribed me 15 mg starting next week! Looking forward to your replies!

hi, i've been on 10s for 12 weeks, and being honest 3 weeks in i started feeling hungry one day then not hungry the next. on the days i felt hungry it was a nightmare i went to bed with my stomach grumbling. but i knew it would pass. it did, i drink loads of water during the day and only now 12 weeks in i'm starting to feel like i might need to step up the 15s i'm reluctant to do that because once i've gone up i'll have nowhere to go when my appetite comes back again. you have to do something to take your mind off food. you'll be ok, good luck x

Thanks for your reply essextrue! doc gave me 15 mg and I'm the 3rd day in but I'm binging like never before! how were they working perfectly the first 4 weeks and totally the opposite now! I will not give up but it's so demotivating! I hate being like I am and that food rules my life! i wish i could find something that can take my mind of food but it's a visious circle... hey i think you should go on 15mg - good luck and keep me posted.

hi cocoon, how are you doing? i just wanted to say that like you i haven't really noticed too much difference with being on the 15s, i think for me it was more a psychological switch. i just try to think of things i could do rather than eat, even just being on the forum helps me not eat anything.i am drinking more water again and upping my fruit intake again before i am tempted to fall into bad habits. please don't give up, you can do this, get some photos out of you and really think how you feel about yourself and do you want to go on like that? you can do this xx

thanks essextrue! i've seen my gp this morning and she could read me like a book - when I said that i am so demotivated she replied that i am already thinking of giving up ... but i should just stop thinking about my weight and carry on, be active and not obsess with the weight. I will try to do that! I just got so impatient with the years - if I don't loose weight fast i get sad and frustrated and give up. hopefully it won't happen this time. as you said, the forum helps a lot - at least like minded people who understand each other. how is it going on your end?
