It’s a great motivator, but it could be just that you were carrying excess
water.  Fat is different but anything that makes us feel good about
ourselves is good.

Have you read my recent post to New Reductil Users?  Placed just before
yours?

I might be alone on this one, but if I don't loose weight for a while then I have something a bit naughty. I'm not talking a 6 pack of doughnuts or anything! but it seems to break me out of the starvation mode and back into weightloss? as a said, not sure if this is the right thing to do or not, but it seems to work for me. x

Should we be doing a detox at the same time as taking the reds? Is that
healthy?

Nuttynat – yes me too.  It’s because you are giving your body food.  It is
only a problem if you do it regularly.  I have the odd bar of chocolate – a
fudge which is hardly big.  But it may be only 2 per month.  People seem
to think that losing weight means starving.  In the old days we went on a
diet NOW we change our eating habits.  I don’t tell myself I can’t have
anything – I just have a small amount of the bad foods only occasionally.
I have had one bag of crisps in 6 weeks.  If I had one 3 times a week it
would do more damage.  A great choc fix though is low cal hot chocolate
drink and a soya choc dessert neither are fattening and get rid of the
craving.

thanks for all your replies!

its not like a proper starvation detox, im still eating 3 proper meals a day, its 3 diff things you take, one for liver one for kidneys and one for bowels, just to give you a bit of a clear out, and ive upped the green teas!!

i just felt i needed a bit of a kickstart, its great to see the numbers on the scales going down again!

hi dion!

i bought a detox pack in a health shop, think it was Natures Way, it was a box with 3 tubs of diff tabs in it, you take them over 10 days, was really good ! gives you a good clear out and gets things moving again..

carol vordermans detox is also brilliant!!
