I read today in the newspaper that this drug has been withdrawn in Europe due to increased risks of heart attack and stroke.
Most of you on the forum don't know me - only some of the "oldies".  I just wanted to say to you all that I am so sorry to hear about this because for so many this drug has changed their life for the better (including mine).
I guess the drug may be available at online sites but everyone should realise that the drug was probably withdrawn for a good reason and it may therefore be unsafe.
Best wishes
Skinny

sorry to seem a bit dim but does that mean we won't be able to get them from the dr anymore?

But healthy people can get heart attacks and strokes also.  We can get
cancer from 80% of our food and drink, smoking and alcohol and we can
get ALL the above from being overweight.  I have never felt better or
slimmer since being on reds and as my bp is normal and I am thinner
healthier and fitter, I think I will take my chances thanks for the advice!

Have a read of this. It should tell you all you need to know.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1245176/Obesity-drug-used-86-000-patients-banned-heart-attack-fears.html

"Last night doctors and pharmacists were told to stop handing out Reductil and experts urged everyone who takes it to make an appointment with their GP to discuss alternative ways of losing weight."
