So Twiggey, have you not been on this site before ? If you had you'd know that we lost crazyfrog for giving her email address, the administrator booted her off ! plus obviously you haven't read that folk on this site don't approve of 'selling' medication using this forum. What it amounts to is you're not going to continue with the reds but are happy to let someone desperate enough who without a doctors prescription and constant monitoring for increases in BP (the only safe way to do it and by far the cheapest)buy them at their own risk that the actual product is genuine and also banned across the world.
Forgive my bluntness, and maybe you hadn't thought it through before posting your message ? think about it.

Thanks for that Charlie !! you sound so caring!. Of course people can make up their own minds !! but this forum is not for dealing, it's for sharing experiences and asking for help and advice. I can't recall any input from you but you felt compelled to post your comment which entirely stated the obvious.

Hear hear Wooders old mate, Charlie is so out of order and both the dealer and the buyer have been deleted by the administrator to boot !! shame about popclient he/she may have found a sanctuary to air their ups and downs with caring people.

I was convinced by a friend of mine to stop taking what I had left, which I
think is the right thing to do. The fear of having the weight creep on had
made me a bit fuzzy in the head I think - I should take head of the basic
fact that they have been removed for a reason. So now I am au naturel, so
to speak and wondering what to do. Trying not to think about food! trying
so hard to keep my portions small like they have been while I was on
reductil. Am considering the drug alternatives. Maybe stomach stapling?
It worked for Fern Britton, but its probably hideously expensive.

Dear WA, I really feel for you, it is a dilema, what to do after the reds ? I think we all feel a bit lost because our appetites were controlled, but as the days go by even though I think about food a lot it's getting easier (early days) and I haven't lost the momentum to want to carry on losing. I have a little battle with myself in the evenings but try and satisfy my cravings (which I'm sure are imagined) with fruit and low fat yogurt and hot chocolate. I've been having porridge with water for brekky and saving the milk for later as well and having a milky coffee.I just need to know there's something in reserve ! and when I go to the gym I have a tiny bar of chocolate around 110 cals, it helps a bit.
I think you were right to take heed and it must be great to have a friend who knows you were on reds to care. I don't speak to anyone about it except on here and the group on FB, I never have spoken about my weight problem with anyone other than the doctor.
You are trying so hard, try not to let it slip away, and gastric banding would mean not being able to enjoy meals again. I would worry I wasn't getting all the nutrients. It's just cos you feel desperate, without looking back ,remind me, did you try Xenical ? a lot of people seem to love it. I know it doesn't control appetite but if you see a loss on your scales that would give you a boost. Soon be the spring !! let's keep going !!

I am one of the longer members on this site. Unfortunately I have been offline for a while and haven't been able to look on the forum.
I don't know what on earth has been going on, but this site was a happy, helpful place where we all shared our experiences together. In all the time I was on here which was everyday, not once did I ever hear or see a cross word between members.
To be honest now that the reds are permanently withdrawn ( according to my doctor & nurses ), I don't think I will continue to come to the forum much now. It seems people have changed and I dont see the friendliness that was once here.
I may log on once in awhile to see how people I know are getting along, but I doubt if I will be posting much.
So good luck to all the 'gang' who I know on here, and keep up the good work. I will look now and then to see your posts.

To be honest Debs I agree this used to be a happy place and in some respects I do feel responsible for creating bad feeling, but it is a forum and I expressed my disapproval of people advertising their reductil for sale on this site. I may have overeacted because by now I should realise there are all sorts of people out there and not all of them give a s**t as long as they get what they want.
So sorry for that folks, but I hope you agree I do try and be helpful and understanding normally.

no not gone, just bored of all the preachers on here, you feel "somewhat responsible" ? yea you should. this used to be a great forum, but all the good people have gone to facebook, and anyone that gets a little heated in their debate gets banned?? thats not a forum thats censorship.
