It isn't silly, it's a great idea, my GP weighed me in kilos when I was on reds and it always seemed more exiting when you saw the loss. We need all the little things that keep us motivated so thanks for reminding me Jay

hey there i normally weight myself in kilos, but i think i prefer stones cos when i say i weigh 60kilos, i think oh my god! but then when i say i weigh 8 stone whatever, for me it feels better! guess its whatever works for you! plus dont most gps and places work in kilos now rather than stones and pounds? thought that measurement went a few years ago! hey there Im not 8 stone! I wish I was...I just have no idea what 60 kilos is, and my maths isnt that great, or perhaps its wishful thinking on my part! I thought that everything was still pretty much measured in kilos, apart from at market stalls!! they still use the pounds and stones! That made me laugh! And as I laughed my belly wobbled a fair bit!! My aim is to hopefully get down to 56kilos, I think that would be a far more comfortable weight for me, im not very tall and as far as i know, i have a small frame. CINDY74

hey there Elvisfan - how you doign today? I was so bad last night, I stuffed my face with 16(yes 16) chocolate teacakse, a bag of lime doritos and some chocolate. I have no idea why I did it, maybe its a side effect of trying to stop smoking. I felt so sick afterwards and wasnt sure if that was still the champix making me feel sick or the fact id over eaten lots of bad food. So today I am off to the gym to work it off! I think that the whole valentines weekend makes me feel so low, i dont know really. anyway, hope your all doing better than me today CINDY74

Hi Cind, yeah I've been there with the binge eating ! in the past I've got through a double pack of jaffa cakes and other stuff, once I ate the kids easter eggs and had to buy replacements before the day which back then couldn't really afford it. My weakness has always been bread and cakes although the rest of the time I ate super healthy. I've been soooo bad but in the past 6 months I haven't had one session, the reductil really helped with appetite and I lost 2 and half stone so don't want to go back ! For once in my life I THINK I've cracked it. Don't beat yourself up mate it wasn't you anyway it was that horrid little demon in your head, just gotta find a way to silence the ba****d ! And don't worry about Valentine's, it's only a day. Elvis says 'don't get all shook up, tomorrow's another day' Cheers, Jay x If at first you don't succeed........

I really think i need something extra to help me out but am worried as i take champix aswell and not sure if i can take two things at same time?? So valentnes day was rubbish! My kids made me a lovely card that was really sweet, went out with some mates Sat night and got very trashed!! So blew the diet out the window then!! ended up eating all sorts of rubbish which was probably laden with fat! Ha! Ah well, liek you said...tomorrows another day! Hope your all good?? CINDY74

Hi Cindy, yes thanks I'm all good. My hubby did treat me to a huge piece of cake in a tea shop yesterday, wow ! so romance isn't dead !! Check with your doc about mixing the Xen with the Champ, but they do work in entirely different ways. I did try Xenical but it was Redutil that saved me, I lost 2 and 1/2 stone in 20 weeks but stopped when the ban came. My prob is appetite !! so if you hear of anything... Have a good day, Jay

hey there nice hubby you got there! i didnt get anything, but then again i am single! well my kids made me a card, but that dont count does it! I weighed myself this morning and lost 3lbs since stopping smoking, but think thats down to how sick the champix has made me feel. i been off my foods and not really eating much! rang the nurse today about feeling sick still and she just said to keep with the pills and if in another week or so, its still bad to come to see gp. hope its just a side effect and not meaning that i gotta stop taking them, as they really are working for me. ive had a couple of cigs but nothing compared with how much i smoked before! i thought that reds and xenical were meant to stop you wanting to eat or am i wrong? i asked about mixing them and the nurse didnt seem to know...havent found anything on here about taking the two together either. Any ideas? CINDY74
