I knew it!!! I remember you sending them off for testing. Good for you. Disgusting they would do that! I have tried reds and the Trims felt nothing like them....so maybe a bad combination of things. I literally took one and didnt touch them again! Whatever happened to the FB group do you know?

Hi, I'm Bexy's friend who was also thrown off the Crazy Frog's Reds Facebrook Group for daring to question how effective Trim-Endous was. Around the same time that the proverbial poop hit the fan and Trim- Endous was no more suddenly the FB Group apparently disappeared. I'm sure Crazy Frog, Biker Frog or whatever she calls herself now still reads these threads as she is now unable to get hold of her drug of choice and I would be very interested to hear what she thinks now.

Hi Bexy and Olive, remember me from the Crazy frogs reds group ? It sadly all got very heated and personal didn't it ? CF was adamant that we all could make up our own minds about the possible dangers of Trim-endous and the like, whereas I did try to be the voice of reason because although I agreed with her sentiments I too had my concerns and did mention them. I did a lot of delving into chinese herbs and past worrying data ref similiar products long before you raised it Bexy. I even privately sent CF extracts of stuff I'd read about the subject. She did not give a s**t whether Trim etc contained sibutramine because she has had success with it and felt it didn't really matter. I don't feel the same as although I lost a lot with Reductil I was/am very outraged to think it could be true that Trim-endous contained unspecified potentially very harmful substances, that just would not be acceptable it makes my blood boil ! I can assure you though that CF did not pull the FB group because of the withdrawal of Trim-endous, far from it, she set it up for those of us who used to interact on here and were affected by the sudden withdrawal of Reductil in January, so we could support eachother and exchange ideas. Her hairdresser put her on to Trim and she shared it with the group. It didn't suit me and I was very ill the first week,(bad head, weird feelings, nausea, nervousness, generally very poorly) I had a weeks break and then took it for another week and lost 7 lbs in total and that I am grateful for but now I am drug free and maintaining my weight loss happily. I don't know why she disappeared, It may have been due to lack of interest, people had begun to stop contributing so often. It was so sudden and I have been concerned as she won't answer emails either, I do hope nothing untoward has happened. She only tried to help and support people and I think she just got p****d off. Best of luck to you all, Jen

I joined the facebook group for a while but could never understand why there was such animosity towards this forum. In fact, I wondered if the frog was maybe getting commission from trim-endous - am pleased to read that she wasn't.

My sentiments entirely luckylu ! no Bexy hasn't got proof (she does say that above) and tests were never carried out like she hoped. She is as convinced as crazy frog is unconvinced that Trim-endous contains sibutramine. I would be horrified if it was proven that products like this were laced with unspecified 'drugs' but personally I've taken both Reductil and Trim and the side effects (for me) apart from the dreaded dry mouth were completely different. I feel I owe a great deal to Reductil as for the first time in many years I lost a lot of weight and it gave me the will to never slide back (I am nearly 60 so it's about time !) I've kept it off for a good 10 months too. I don't blame you for objecting to paying those outrageous prices for Reductil, people must have more money than sense or are they running up debts, I know some people will do anything in desperation and I can understand that. Take care

Jen I think you've mis-read Bexy's post, she says she HAS got proof. She can't go into it all now but all her suspicions have been confirmed and will be able to say shortly. They have been tested and that is why they are no longer available. I really think the point is missed here. We all want to lose weight, we wouldn't be on these forums. I've taken pills in the past that contained ephedra that have now been banned, so I have no problem with people having freedom of choice, if they are aware of what it is they are taking and willing to take any risks. The point is that these contained undisclosed ingredients that could be harmful to somebody who is taking them unwittingly. The reason you found them different was that they also had other strong herbs in as well as the sibutramine, which is why you found them so strong, and although this is wonderful for losing weight, it can be dangerous for some. Reductil was adminstered by doctors to people who could take and needed it and is monitored. Pills with undisclosed drugs in can be bought in a local salon by somebody totally unsuited to them who thinks they are a harmless bunch of herbs with fatal results.

Hi Olive, yes sorry my apologies to you both for misreading Bexy's post, only not long ago she did say that her quest for testing had not been taken up, so I assumed wrongly that she still had no proof. The second week I took Trim-endous after a weeks break I didn't feel on top of the world but not nearly as bad as the first. With Reductil I did have side effects but was able to cope with them. I think there were a lot of complaints about Trim. and Transformulas Waistline because there were sites actually stating that 'due to customer disatisfaction they were not selling it but had transferred to another pill' in all cases the 'new pill' had almost identical 'ingredients' supposedly and identical 'instructions' online. I personally emailed my supplier asking for the actual mgs per ingredient to compare the 'strength' to the similar products and also to tell them about my awful experience. They just replied with a standard response and no help or information. I was always very scepital about 'chinese herbal' stuff anyway and the Trimendous etc when we compared notes on Crazy frog's facebook often came in different packaging, different colours and some with a leaflet and some with no instructions. Some of the wording was mispelt and not very professionally done. I have actually kept a couple of tabs just in case Bexy needed back up for her testing, as I only took them for 14 days in all. So now I wait with interest to find out what's been going on if Bexy is able to divulge. My thought has always been that everyone should have freedom of choice but that must be based on accurate and honest labeling. Take care everyone

Oh Luckylu you haven't got a clue have you. All Bexy is saying is that it is illegal to add an ingredient and not declare it - that's not a matter of choice or opinion but a law! The law is there to protect people. Bexy cares passionately about other people and not just herself and I think that is what seems to be lost on some people who obviously only think of themselves and don't understand this viewpoint. Jen, you were always the voice of reason on Crazy Frogs FB site, but again she didn't seem to care whether they contained sibutramine or not, just the fact that they worked and I know she set the page up to support people who could no longer get Reductil and I think she did, but that didn't mean we should have all turned a blind eye to the obvious and that's why it got nasty. I have friends who took Trim- Endous and lost vast amounts of weight and they were fine, but then Lisa took ill and that's when we started to question on the forum and it all went a little silly. I think we should move on, Bexy only came on to put the matter to rest, there was a lot of speculation, but now it's cold hard facts.

I more than anyone would love the frog to pop up again because I am truly concerned about why she just disappeared and is she ok ? The frog didn't like what she saw as 'scare mongering'. Unsupported statements and suspicions were not welcome on a site as far as she was concerned where the idea was to help and exchange weight loss worries and new products. Ok she did have strong opinions herself but her advice was well respected by most on the Ukmedix forum and people have actually said in recent posts that they miss her. The group was about ex Reductil takers who had posted on here, a little sanctuary for those of us who regularly posted but new people were welcome too. Trim-endous only reared it's head because the frogs hairdresser had lost loads of weight and it seemed like a good idea to share the news with us. So most of us took it with varying results, mostly pretty good weight losses. Then there started to be problems getting hold of it and the frog herself emailed some of the companies for answers to our nagging questions and information, she just got 'safe' replies nothing concrete. So come on Crazy Frog, just come back and let us know you're ok and defend your good name !! lol Jen xx
