There is not one that I know of. If there was I would enjoy to chat. Trouble is I would not know how to set it up. Dee

I don't think there is - it's a tricky one - doing a public page wuld really bring lots of useless commentry from people who are bored or mean, i think. Having it here is not something people would normally look for unless you wanted to talk about what we talk about. Having a private page would make it hard too as who decides who to add... it would really be the same as the forums anyone don't you think?? I think some people like being a bit anonymous? makes them feel they can ask anything and not be shy... Disco xx

Yes I agree Disco and I speak from bitter experience that when the late Crazy Frog set up her 'Reds group'after the ban in January to offer help and support to those of us left shocked and stunned by the withdrawal, the Administrators kept booting her off for giving the link for anyone wishing to join. As she saw it we couldn't buy from here so why would they mind, but they did strongly object and sussed out every new guise she used to stay on the forums. However we continued with the facebook site for ages and then had some awful heated debates about Trim-endous etc because we had all mostly gone over to those type of pills and some people came on alleging the ingredients contained Sibutramine. In the end CF pulled the plug on those people because she saw them as trouble makers making unfounded claims and putting the wind up folk. So what I'm trying to say from my experience the forums here are just as good if not better. Jen xx

i didnt know all that happened Jen! that is pretty crazy! The thing about uk medix is that even in the information bits baout the weightloss drugs, not only do they give tips but they give well researched warnings. I know in fb and other websites claiming to sell weightloss drugs - they are more about the sell rather than informing the buyer. I always feel up to date on ukmedix, does that make sense?? Issy x Equally i agree with disco and jen on their replies. Here seems a bit safer to me.

Hi Bexy ! no not taking a pop at you, we were discussing the pros and cons of setting up a FB group and why CF got booted off for advertising it on here, just saying what CF felt and why she pulled the plug on you, her decision as she was the founder. I did then and still agree that you had every right to pursue your suspicions as I too looked into all the past similiar history before you joined us or mentioned it on this forum. I also privately messaged CF cut and pasting all articles about other stuff which had been seized at customers and companies raided and outlawed in the past. We had a debate of our own. Then when I was really ill the first week of taking Trim-endous she did feel it could have just been a virus but I'm so rarely ill it didn't add up. As you say it was brilliant for helping us to lose weight but at what cost ? unless those findings are ever published we'll never know but we do remain free to ignore everyone else and choose what we want to take as Sallie says however well intentioned the warnings are. Now Reductilbymail has seemingly closed down people are left in the lurch yet again. Jen

Hi Bexy: I was a facebook member briefly during the time you were trying to warn people with the best of intentions. I was not at all comfortable by the hysterical reaction shown to you and the venom towards uk medix expressed by the late leader so just hardly contributed. A similar reaction was shown to me by many on here when I tried to explain about cheaper sources of reductil. Am trying not to smile as I write this!

please not the trimendous chat again - we get it ok! As for reductil by mail - seems that the ban on reds has spread. that is prob why they can o longer sell it - it's a shame as i have read as they have been doing tests on overweight people who have heart conditions and that is one of the big factors in the ban - they didnt think about the healthier people who need reductil... I know that obesity goes hand in hand with heart desease but it has helped so many people, it's so unfair!!! Disco

Yes point taken Disco apologies for my part in that topic just trying to say how setting up a FB account went wrong as Admin objected to people advertising it on here. Subject over and done with !!!!!!!!! It is sad for those who rely on Reductil as it's been the best solution for many of us. Have you or are you going to try any of the alternatives Celt and Sallie have mentioned ? Jen
