great idea but good luck as there are more false
accounts on here tonight LOL.  I used to be on reductil
and lost 2 stones and when they stopped I didn't take
anything for a while and the weight crept back up.
Then I tried over th counter stuff and hoodia.  Then
got chatting to Sal and have taken reductrim and
sibuslim.  I am almost there and have gone down from a
16 to a size 12.  Another stone would be fantastic but
don't think I will get there.  For the past 3 months I
keep losing and gaining the same 5 - 6 pounds but am
making sure I don't put them back on again as without
the pills my appetite is really huge

Hi, I am Mel! I am a 40 something mum of 4 kids ~ 3 boys aged 21, 20 and 16 and 1 girl aged 6.

My weight has been up and down since having kids ranging from 14+ stone down to 8st 10lb in 2001.

I lost 3 st on the Reds in 2009 and have been up and down since.

I started slimming world 2 weeks ago and have lost 5.5lb so far!!

That's a good idea Libby! I've been on here a year and a half, having
sought something to lose weight. My marriage had broken down, I was
divorced alone and piled it on! Lacking confidence I knew I needed to do
something, rather than continue on for the rest of my life alone and
miserable. I was browsing the internet  and came on to this site and
starting asking questions. Reductil worked well for me, but then I moved
on to xenical when it was discontinued. Its been a hard slog, learning
about food calories and fat, but I'm now four stones lighter than I was
when I started, so I'm happy!

I am newish..dip in and out from the forum now and then. I am real too!! My name is soppy Sophie, I have three children nearly 12, 10 and 2. I struggled to lose weight after number 3. Lost two stones over 6 months with reds before they were banned. Like luckyloo keep putting 6lb/7lb on and off. Would really like to lose another 7-10lb and keep it off for good. Trying sibutrim at the moment x x

chears for starting this link libz,
I was on reds about 2 1/2 years ago, lost 3 1/2 st and since then put 2
1/2 back on. the last stone is not going on!
I have a daughter who is 16 and has brittle bones. Last year she had a
nasty fracture and was off school for most of the year. Hence no gym,
running and in all day near a fridge! Not a good mix. the weight piled
back on and not I am trying to get it off again.

Hi all, I have been around a while.  I am an oldie who leaves home to do
school runs am and pm. I feed my two grandchildren in the evening.  We
are a three generation home as my Mum lives with us.  I was on Reds and
lost 3 stone but was still not at goal.  Since they stopped I put a stone on
and  then tried Reductrim.  Now its just weight watchers and it is slowly
coming off. I have a lot of weight to lose and find the forum a good
support.

Its interesting how for so many of us its connected to not being able to
get out and exercise. The food on offer these days is so bad (I mean so
tasty, but high fat) but we're not able to get out and about as much as we
used to. Yo-yoali, sounds like you are a very good mum being there with
your daughter during that time. But it does make it hard to get out and
exercise regularly. I try to help my daughter with her young family, but
then all the 'me time' quickly disappears!

Have you not done a weigh in yet? I'm intrigued to hear what it will be.
Xenical is supposed to start working immediately. I believe I had lost 3lbs
by the end of my second week. But hang in there - wait for the results.
Perhaps you have some water retention? I've had that on and off, and it
feels like you're not losing weight...

Doesn't Xenical only work if people are very overweight and eat a fatty diet?  Maybe it you eat healthy and only have up to one stone to lose it won't work.  I have never taken it but I have read a little about it and I was under the impression that's how it worked.
