well done macduff! its a great feeling when u've lost some weight and u notice it on ur clothes. my hubby's the same he never wld say anything about my weight but it's all about how u feel ur self isn't it? i'm 37, 5ft 11 and a half inch (always have to put the half in there!!!) and started at 17stone. this is my third wk and i've lost about 7lbs. i always gain some weight b4 my period which is a pain in the arse when ur dieting!! every time i feel like i can't be bothered i think of that feeling ya get when u know u,ve lost some or when ur clothes are more comfy or looser. keep up the good work!

well, I was at the doctor's this morning and he's told me that the knee pain is osteo-arthritis (which was a shock!)  He's given me some strong painkillers and another prescription for the reds.
I just wish I'd gone six months ago when the pain started.

Didn't lose this week, although after Saturday it's no surprise, BUT it has really spurred me on to greatness next week.  As a treat for the 12lbs - yes I'm still going on about it - I'm getting a haircut on Saturday, because Saturday night my hubby is taking his new woman to a party.  I was considering taking back the new trousers and getting a smaller size, but then thought NAH... and anyway he's promised me a new pair when I need them

I'm keeping a diary for the food, and how i'm feeling while taking the reds, but I'm going to post bits on here too.

One thing, I've been nibbly in the evening so the doctor recommended taking the tablet later in the day... anyone tried it?  Does it work for you?

I've been taking it around 10ish for the past week - but felt so nibbly by 8pm.
Today i've gone back to 7am and just had my tea - feeling OK at the moment.
Doc suggested taking it mid afternoon so i would be OK in the evening

I've been for my hair cut and I look fab, I even got my eyebrows reshaped.  Hubby is taking this amazing looking woman to a party tonight (me) so i've gotta look amazing... and will!
Not feeling too hungry, but i wonder if that is psychological?  I want to work extra hard this week, so I know that I can't be nibbling... therefore brain is telling stomach to have a rest cos it doesn't need anything?!
The knee pain is not as bad either - but I'm putting that down to the prescription drugs
Had a shopping day so i've done a bit of walking today, then had half hour in garden pulling up weeds before the bad weather sets in.

Generally, I feel great today - better than in ages!
I'm gonna get a photo of me before I go out and try to load it tomorrow.

macduff, congrats to you on ur achievement...just starting is tough...
just a small comment...i like taking my reductil late too, so it lasts me throughout the day, but if i take it to late i get insomnia symptoms, just beware of this incase u cant sleep at night, you might have to take it a bit earlier during the day...
keep up the great work!

Today is the beginning of the rest of your life...

Well, the party was great.  I forgot to get the picture before we went out, so I got one when we came home this morning (and cos I wasn't drinking I think I still looked good!)

I'm hoping the picture loads, but if not I'll try again.

I don't have many photos of me, I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of it - I love to take photos, but I figured that I should get some of me before it's too late so I made my hubby take this one.

Here's something else, people keep smiling at me -  it's weird (I think it's the hair), but you know what... I like it!

PS:
Just seen the photo - I look like i've got a tiny head on huge boobs.... OH MY GAWD there's no wonder people keep smilling at me if that's how I really look lol

Glad you had a great time at the party and also by the way you look great. Good to put a face to you at last. The reason people are smiling is because you are looking good girl !!
Keep up the good work  Debz
