Well it's Monday evening, and it's been a really good day. Everyone on here is feeling good, and generally things are working well for us all.
I just want to share this with you - hoping it will make you smile?!
This morning I decided to wear my knee length boots (not worn heels for a while cos they bother me after a few hours). I had on my funky bright pink dress and black lacy tights... yes I know what you're thinking, but I can assure you that yes I do own a mirror, and yes the light bulb was working this morning 
Got to work feeling a million dollars, and one of the girls in the warehouse asked me if I was feeling OK cause I looked really rough/ill! pop went the bubble!
Don't misunderstand, she wasn't being nasty and to be honest I took it as one of those funnier moments of the day.
Tomorrow - yellow dress, pink tights, steel toecap boots ha ha ha ha
I'll keep you posted on the work comments

Hi Macduff,
May I enquire what job you have to where heels and a bright pink dress. I don't get the luxury of wearing what I want, I have a uniform, lovely bottle green trousers and pale blue tunic top!!!!  I know blue and green should never be seen. But I did not choose the uniform!!!!

Hi Mrs P - well I don't have to wear a pink dress - I just wanted to!
I'm the stock control manager for a company that sells duvets. There's no uniform (which is good), and I have these moments of sheer madness every once in a while when I wear something totally inappropriate.
what do you do in such a fetching uniform? can I buy the same thing locally?

Great montage Rachel. Will look forward to seeing the incredible shrinking you.
I work as a therapy assistant. I work with physios and occupational therapists. The physio colour is blue and the OT colour is green. So when they brought in the new position for a TA they combined the uniforms!!!!
Would not wish it on anyone! Pink would have been soooo much better, or yellow, orange, mauve.......

it was really nice to read , also sorry about your knee.
try and excercise it abit at home if you can. your ticker is lookig good as sure you are too.

Thanks all for the kind words - glad you liked the montage!
I'm off to the swimming baths tomorrow night, so I'll let you know how I get on. I haven't been for a couple of years so i'll probably drown in the first 5 minutes and spend the next hour sitting in the shallow end with the toddlers lol
Krynn (daughter) has suggested I go to kick boxing with her  i've told her that i'll leave it for a while longer but maybe after Xmas (didn't say which Xmas though)
Right, I'm off for breakfast (and I MUST do some work)
You're right, this site is addictive!
