Hi Blondie, Sorry i've only just been on and read your question about the ticker... I think you've got it now, but if not you need to click on a ticker and follow the instructions to create one. When you have it, cut and paste the code into your preferences (in the signature bit). It's a bit trial and error cos you get 3 different codes and I can't remember which one you need. Basically I'm rubbish at this explaining lark

Hi Ali, I think it must be a trick photo cos I'm sure I don't really look like that... I'm just sat here smiling, and feeling my cheek bones, which I didn't realise I had until you mentioned it (hubby looking at me like I'm a loon) did you check out my "before" pic in my gallery... now that is scary!

Thursday 4th December No loss this week - I'm contemplating cuttin off my arm so I can show a loss next week that actually stays off, instead of the yoyo 4lbs that I'm working with at the moment. I'm off to Manchester on Saturday afternoon for a mooch and a beer. Apparently there is a German Market in the town centre so we'll have to try the knockwurst and the lager (it would be impolite not to!) Also, I'm meeting up with Ron who's up here to sample the culture (he doesn't get much where he lives lol) Niyra, I'll dish the goss next week

Monday 5th January 2009 I can't believe it's been a month since my last post... where has the time gone? OK, so loads have happened in the past few weeks! Job - I'm jobless again I quit my job after the boss shouted at me once too often - I'm not too worried about it, as I'll go and do some temp work until I find another job. I just need to find another job soon though Home - busy Christmas and New Year It's been a non stop eating and drinking contest since the middle of December. I won - and the prize? half a stone woo hoo! Weight - Not so good All the festive spirit (mainly vodka) has taken it's toll and the scales are showing a half stone gain. To be honest though, it's not as bad as it may seem, I'm back on the wagon today and as I have no job I can do a bit more exercise than I've been doing. So, I'm about to get dressed and walk into town.. it's only about a mile or so, but if I walk there, do a bit of shopping and then get the bus back from half way (it's all uphill coming back) I can at least feel that I've done some exercise. Or, I could just snuggle up with a dvd and a mug of coffee? I'll let you know what I decided to do later

As you can see, it's been a while since I last posted. To be honest, I was talking to another member on Facebook who said he'd just restarted the reds and I thought to myself... "it's been too long, time to admit to yourself what's going on!" so here I am. I'm still off the reds, have been since the end of October, although I had one month's supply which I took over about 6 weeks at the start of the year. Since then, I've started my new job and although I've not dared to go near the scales I know that (from my clothes) I've put weight on - I just can't face the scales telling me how much... DENIAL, not just a river in Egypt! I know that I have to get back on track, so I'm going to walk to work and back one day this week (4 mile round trip) if the weather holds. I'm more active than in the past, but I'm also eating more than when I was on the reds. The only up-side seems to be that for a couple of days now I've felt full before my plate was cleared (was that a lot of food or just feeling full?) and I've left food on the plate. My ticker hasn't been updated for ages so it could be time to get on the scales and face the demons....

Demons faced - it was worse than I thought, I can only hope that some of it is down to the roast lamb I ate at 3pm (and not just cos I've pigged out for the past 4 months!) I'll get back on the scales during the week when I've had a chance to walk a bit more and eat a bit less for a few days. If I ever want the reds again I've got to lose the weight I've put back on, as well as a further stone - so now uphill battle then!

Hi Rachel, I just wanted to wish you luck. I also have put on some weight, it was so easy and so silly. Now I am back on reds and found it such a relief. Good to all of us. xxJG
