Wednesday afternoon It's finally happened... someone has noticed! It was such a great thing because I've not really told anyone and I kind of keep my head down at work (cos we are so busy). One of the office staff asked if I'd lost weight, and another said that she could tell as she'd been away for a few days. This is fantastic - I can't get over how great I feel because of it. Tomorrow is weigh day, I'm hoping for 2lbs so that i've lost my first stone. Please keep your fingers crossed for me

McDuffers I'm so pleased for you - it's really great when people notice all by themselves and I'll definitely keep everything crossed. I'm sure you'll have made your first stone off (can't wait for mine). You must be feeling about 10ft tall! xx

Well, what a night! Last night we went out (not something we usually do on a Wednesday), a friend of our plays a set in a local pub and we decided to go and listen. While they were warming up, we decided to have a wander to another pub, so we left Phil listening, while Me and Krynn went for a walk. In the other pub was "rockyoke" - karaoke but with a live band. Now, I love singing, and am usually the first up to do a turn - but never with a live band.... Until last night! There may even be photos of me on their website (I looked pretty funky if I do say so myself), and a bloke asked Krynn who I was cos he thought I was gorgeous Told Phil all about it, he asked if the bloke had a white stick lol So it was a Wonderful Wednesday, on top of people noticing for the first time, I got up and sang in a pub and a man wanted to chat me up (Krynn wouldn't let him... "erm, that's my mom!") Oh, and to make it even better 3lbs off this week All I need now is for Nicolas Cage to turn up with a bunch of flowers and swearing undying love and my week is complete Thursday night... Just been to my first "aqua fit" class - wow, I'm beat, but feeling quite contented that I've finally started doing some sort of exercise. I'll let you know if I start finding muscles I didn't know I had (when the ache lol)

I've had a hell of a day at work today, and I'm sorry to say that I've not been all that good with the food. My stress levels are at an all time high (again), but I can't ask the doctor for anything as I don't want to have to sacrifice the reds... so I'm going to have to de-stress naturally - any ideas? Anyway, after losing the plot at work this morning I shared a nan bread and chicken tikka for lunch (I only had about a third, but it's still not ideal). Funnily enough I did have a better afternoon, but I'm not convinced of the healing properties of Chicken Tikka Nan I'm going to have to work extra hard now cos I don't want the weight loss to stop just because I'm feeling miserable and eating badly. I know this is a pathetic whinge, but just getting it down does help! Right, I'm going to be good all weekend and on Monday I am not going to let them get me down I'm going to read a couple more threads, and I'm going to bed. It's after midnight, I'm not that tired, but I'm not sleeping as well as I should be - don't know if that's the stress or the reds!

Thursday 15th It's been a pretty good week really - work has been less of a nightmare, I'm eating much better (3 proper meals a day, little or no snacking!) and the weight is slowly coming off. This week i've lost 3 and 1/2lb, which takes me down to 19st and 1/2lb - a total of 19lb off in the past 6 weeks. I feel great, and after using the site that Jellybaby mentioned I can see where it's going from (even though I can't see it in the mirror yet). FAB MOMENT OF THE WEEK Tuesday night I cooked chili for the warehouse (where Krynn works), I made 2 types with enough rice to sink a battleship. Yesterday I spilled some down my clean shirt on the way into the office, not a good look! So off I went to Asda around the corner to get another top for work (I work 20 miles from home so I couln't just nip back and change). Anyway, the top I got was a size 20, TWO sizes smaller than usual. OK so it wasn't "skin tight" and did have some elastic through it, but compared against the last blouse I bought from Evans in September which was a size 28 it was a small victory! I haven't voiced it yet, but I'd like to try for 2 stones before Xmas... I think it may now be possible!

Hi Rachel, Well done you, What a fab weight loss. It's such a great feeling when you can go into a high street shop and buy clothes. Two sizes smaller is a great achievment. Just think what you can do before Christmas if you keep going like that!!! You don't have to justify the size though, "not skin tight etc" the label says it all!!!!! Keep going and keep us up to date. Mrs P

Macduff ! What can i say but WELL DONE !! You are doing so well and are certainly on the right track to have that 2 stone off by christmas. Its a good thing you are doing posting your thoughts and feelings on here in a diary. What are we all gonna do with our clothes that no longer fit. Perhaps we could get a site like e bay going lol. I already have planty of clothes that no longer fit but dont want to throw them out. Think of all the shopping we can do on the sales. I cant wait. No more fat shops for us ! DEBZ

Thanks Mrs P and Debz, The diary was my way of getting it out there, and if it gives help/advice (or even what not to do) to just one other it's got to be good. As for our clothes, how about.... Fat Gals WERE Us
