I'm quite gutted I got to the end of this diary... I've been reading it all night and it's been a good read! Not to come across like a stalker I really wanted to read it for a real experience of using Reductil, I'm hooked.. I'm signed up for the next installment (and the book!) Keep up the good work!

No, it was Mozfest (in Mossley, Lancs) but I didn't get there as I was at my brother's all weekend.

Today's been a funny old day, well to be fair it's been a funny old weekend all around. I was out Friday, drinking Sunday, and out again Monday seeing Pearl Jam. Today I felt really really rubbish, you know that curl in a ball and wake me up in Spring feeling - well I had it today. Unfortunately I also had a gym appointment for a new training programme so I made myself go. I didn't regret it - in fact it was an excellent idea. I sweated and I worked and I came out feeling refreshed and happy. It really was the best medicine (when did that happen - I've never been a gym bunny type, so why did it make me feel so much better?) So here I am now, back home, feeling much happier and a lot less sick. I've got my weigh in on Friday with the nurse, and although I've lost inches I'm not sure how that will transpire into weightloss??

Friday 21st August Nurse weigh day - no change! No big deal, I've lost around 6inches all over since I started at the gym, and i'm getting my reds again this month - I'll just have to work harder I would like to point out though (here comes the excuse) that the surgery's scales have just been re-calibrated, so although it showed no loss, that doesn't mean there was no loss... if you know what I mean. My scales today +2lb... so perhaps an extra workout tonight is called for to shift it by next week.

You haven't sneaked a sausage buttie in there somewhere again have you Rachel? heehee. You said no change, when did you get weighed last? Oh I would go through your diary but hey, theres only so many hours in the day! Has it been 2 wks or 4 wks? Losing 6 inches on your body is great Rachel, well done you girl! ( 3 inches of that was a sausage you'de eaten - haha ) No honestly joking aside, well done. I would suggest we got a 'Ban the scales' campaign up and running, but come on, none of us would stick to it would we eh? We would all be saying we haven't been on them, then in the early hours of the morning we'd all be on them in the dark and with a torch! They are like an addiction, we can't leave them alone I've still not lost even though I've managed to get back onto 3 meals a day, but I'm not giving up yet, until they take me off the 'reds' screaming! So, onwards and upwards as they say! Take it easy on that workout Rachel, don't do yourself some harm now. Don't want to hear you've been layed up with a sprain or something. Have yourself a good weekend Rachel, Debs xx

Hey Deb - not a sneaky sausage butty (more like a fried breakfast and KFC!) I get weighed at the nurse once a month, and at home once a week. I don't usually get on the scales during the week, especially if i've been naughty, and have been known to "forget" to weigh in when i've been really really bad lol I do agree with a ban the scales week though - the more hung up on weighing we become the worse for us I think... it's better to get on after a week and see a surprise loss than to stress over the daily half on half off nightmare. In fact, I'm going to start a thread... to ban the scales for one whole week (anything more than that is just silly and nobody will join). Let's see how many join?

Well, all I can say is, when I go back to the nurse in 3 wks time, if I haven't lost anything I'm going to throw a paddy and kick the nurses scales. Failing that, I'll kick the nurse in the shin for telling me to eat more! haha I will be weighed a couple of days after having my first tattoo. Emmmm...I wonder if she will buy the idea that the ink weighs abit?? heehee. Oh no, better keep my tattoo hidden. She's my diabetic nurse as well and will proberly give me a lecture for having it done! Oh Rachel! A KFC of all things!! Thats my favourite as well, oh it's not fair, I think I'm going to sulk now Have you got a sweet tooth? Well, if you get the urge - Eh, for something sweet of course, then try Caremel Flavour Snack A Jacks. They are Rice & Corn and are low in fat, and are quite big! They are 51 cals and 0.3g fat in each one. I find they are just handy if you really can't stop that sweet craving we get now and then. And lets face it, we would all love to dive into that 200g bar of nut choccy, but, as we are as good as angels ( cough cough ) these are much better for us. ( stop trying to polish your halo Rachel! ) Hey Kev could throw them as a discus as he's running! haha I joined the Ban the Scales campaign with you, a couple of others have to. I wonder how many we will get? Debs xx
