Car / Life update!

Car is being fixed on Friday, so hopefully I'll be back up and running by tea time.  I've not been to the gym for almost 3 weeks, but have walked to and from work (4 miles) every day so it's kind of balanced itself up.

The life is getting back on track big style - I'm doing better than ever before, and every day is something new and exciting.

The house is starting to be mine - I've changed the bedroom to how I want it, and I'm starting on other places in the house too.

Generally, things are good.

I got on the scales today and don't appear to have gained/lost this week (which is good) but I'm definitely looking more curvy than before - I have a waistline now!

Well, that's about all my news for now - but when I get weighed tomorrow I'll update the ticker (either way)

Be good gang, catch up after the weekend xx

Rachel x

Good for you Rachel, it sounds like your on the up and up - that's what I like to hear!

I know this may sound weird, but at least something good has come out of all the heartache - YOU!

Your losing your weight, your confidence is strong, your enjoying life - I'm really pleased that your ok Rachel, I really am.

Hey! you've found you have one as well............
A waistline!  Mine has appeared as well, great isn't it!!
Also, something else pleased me this week. Ok, it may not be a big deal to others but it is to me........
I bought a lightweight rain mac, and guess what??
I had to get one 3........yes 3.....sizes smaller than normal!!!  Am I chuffed or what!

Just goes to show how a small thing like that can lift the old confidence no end!

Have a good weekend Rachel, have fun!

Monday Evening

My weekend was a blast - got my car fixed and had a great time being a mechanic's mate for the day!

I wore my corset for the first time in months this weekend, and it is now so big on me that it was closed (and still too big).. am gutted and elated at the same time!

Debs, 3 sizes smaller is fantastic, and definitely something to be shouting about - it's litte victories like this that make the journey all the more bearable!

I'm back at the gym this week - not tonight... too busy getting the house in order (new me, new rules, new outlook, new layout for the house)

Am loving this single life - and being this size is definitely the way to enjoy it the most!

Hi Rachel,

My god girl, your going for it big time aren't you?  Turning into a mechanic, wearing a now too big corset, and changing your house to how you want it! - You go for it Rachel!!
I bet your loving doing the house to how you want it to look, good for you.

I'm glad you are enjoying life and the 'New You'. Hopefully I will be enjoying the new me sometime next year if it all goes to plan.  Although I'm seriously struggling Rachel with my reds, they just don't seem to be working now. My appetite is just not suppressed at all since I went back on them after having that Swine Flu. I will admit that I still don't feel totally well yet, so I'm wondering if my body is trying to get me to eat more to make me fully well.  I'm gutted, but I'm not giving up yet - oh no,  I will fight this Rachel!
I've the nurse on Monday so I may ask about going on the 15's.  Do you know if the nurse is allowed to up the reds for us, or does the doc have to see us?

Now I know your busy doing things these days Rachel, but take a look at my Winter Warmers thread.  If you've any ideas, pop them on there ok.

I hope your having a good week so far, let us know how it's going.

Saturday 10th October

Today would have been my 11th wedding anniversary - I spent most of this morning in the bank sorting out the account... True Love Forever!

Still, back to more interesting things - I've been weighed, and according to my scales I'm only 1 and 1/2lb away from having lost 5stone since starting the reds two years ago.  I'll update the ticker in a minute, I'm really pleased with it and to be honest I never thought I'd get this far.

Life is still treating me well, and to celebrate my loss (weight and other related losses) I'm going to treat myself to some cheese on toast.

I've dug out my Hallowe'en costume, and will have to take it in because it doesn't fit properly - yay, sewing!

Off to make toast now, catch up later x

I can't tell you how pleased Iam for you Rachel, You've done yourself proud.
We all know how hard this journey is, and to get that far is something worth shouting about - so I hope you have been!!
Although I didn't hear you here in Pitsea, so shout louder!

It's my weigh in today - I'm not hopeful, but I'll let you know how I get on.  I'm going to ask to be put on the 15's.

Official Weigh In today... 99kg - that takes me below 100kg for the first time in donkey's years!

I've got some photos from Saturday night, at a wedding reception, and I look like a new woman.  Sometimes I forget just how far I've come, and what I've achieved, but when I see those photos it's hard not to smile to myself and be just a little bit pleased (who am I kidding... I looked awesome and I know it!)

Back to the gym tonight, as I really need to get back into the swing of exercising - had a week off from walking now the car is fixed, so no excuse for not exercing.

I'll try to load the photos from Saturday into my gallery - it's a pleasant surpise I think!

Rachel x
