Today is my birthday - I'm half of "two fat ladies"... 44

Anyhow, the food is going well, and tomorrow I'm off work - I have a long weekend planned... doing nothing!

I've still not been weighed, but I do think that I'm losing weight... so therefore they are working!

Had a beer over the weekend, it helps me sleep, but leaves me craving the next day - I've not done too badly today, picked at lunch, but had a large tea (salad, roast pork, potato chunky things and some cheesecake) - full now though

Oh, I'm tired too so I won't be too late in bed

Hi Rachel, you seem to be doing well but I don't know how you can go without weighing yourself, sadly I weigh myself everyday. I've tried so hard not to but it's another habit hard to break. I am healthy eating at the moment, not much different to normal but without the biscuits, over doing the bread and desserts. By the way Happy Birthday !

Celt - hi, how are you doing on Reductrim (or similar)

I've been weighed - it broke my heart, but I am lighter than I was at the hospital recently so that was a small comfort.

I think I've lost half a stone since starting the reductrim, and the dress that was a little tight isn't so tight so I am sure it's going.

John's birthday today, so pasta and a bottle of wine (I had 2 glasses, topped up with lemonade, so probably only 3/4 of a real glass)

Back to being good tomorrow, as I'm at a photo shoot on Saturday and need to look pretty!

Thursday

I've not been bad today - I turned down biscuits, and at lunchtime I bought a sandwich and fruit instead of crisps!

This evening I gave my birthday chocs to my nephew (well one of them) and didn't eat any.  I'm feeling a bit virtuous, but you know what they say about pride and falling!

Monday

I don't know if I'm struggling or not (scales are broke) but I am feeling so much better, and feel that my clothes are fitting without so much gaping!

The down side is that at weekends I don't eat at reasonable times, and I am prone to have a beer or two - good job it's only one night a week!

I have bookings for 2 shows in March, so I'm happy with that and a new routine is taking form in my head (I'll share pictures as soon as I can)
