So glad to hear some happiness in your post today, maybe your mum is suffering with SAD it can affect a lot of people this time of year with the dull days and dark mornings, hope you do manage to get shopping together at the weekend.  Great news about your brother, now can you imagine the outfits you will have next year something major to aim for, sister of the groom outfit means business, big hat and all.

13th December

Well the weight's coming off slowly - 1 1/2lb this week which takes me down to 26 off and only 2 to go to my Xmas target

It's been a weird week - we've got so much to do that it's been all hands to the deck... so i've been in the warehouse labelling stock!  I didn't realise that lugging a few boxes was going to be so tiring!?

I'm absolutely knacked and I've lost the ability to focus - which along with the sleepless nights isn't helping one bit.  Oh and i've got a headache and bunged up feeling - I think I've got my Xmas present early.... man flu!

Phil is cooking tea right now so that i can eat and go to bed, but I'm worried that if I fall asleep early then I'll be up at stupid o'clock in the morning and shattered again all day

Best Bit of the Week
New corset for Xmas - pressie from Krynn

Worst Bit of the Week
Not sleeping properly, and the headaches

I know I'm having a whinge, but I know I can do it here and nobody minds

Just quick update from last night....

I slept like a baby for 8 hours!

Phil sent me to bed at 9 o'clock, and I was up at 5 this morning but I slept all the way through and this morning felt great.

Maybe I'm like a mobile phone - you have to let it go totally flat every now and again before recharging for it to take effect

Thursday 20th December

I've done it - I've been weighed this morning and I'm 1/2lb over my 2 stone target.... am so pleased!

My Xmas party dress fits great, and generally I'm feeling top of the world - no doubt that'll all change during the day though lol

It's been a strange week - I've been rubbish taking the tablets (some days it's been tea time before i've remembered), and I've not written down what I've been eating like I usually do; so I was surprised that I've hit my target this week.

It does mean that I'm gonna relax a bit over the next few days and worry about losing again after New Year - if I lose next week it's all good (doctor's next week), but hey it's only once a year.

Now, where are those Maltesers......

it won't post for some reason?!

Oh No, I was so excited and posted my diary - and it's been eaten up!

So to summarise....

Well, Christmas is over and there's just the New Year party to get through.  I didn't get the usual box of Thorntons this year, but I did get a bottle of perfume... which was a much better pressie

This week I've been pretty bad - Work's do on Friday (very drunk, and a curry!), then out Saturday too.  I was very surprised that today's weigh in showed 2lbs off

I've seen the doctor today and he's pleased with my progress (I thanked him for the tablets and told him about you all!)  He's referred me to the nurse from now on for my monthly weigh in and prescriptions.

Well, in 6 weeks I'm going to be 40, so i've set myself a new goal... 1 stone off (or no birthday!).  I've even set up a new ticker just for it.

2008 - the year where I go from size 20 to size 08  (well if I tell the truth it'd be year 2616!) lol

Have a good New Year everyone!

Over Xmas I wasn't as bad as I could have been and the first week I lost 2lbs, then this week i'd put 3 on - which takes me to square 1 near enough.  I think I'm struggling a bit, I'm just picky (I think it's cos I'm bored) but I don't know quite what to do in order to stop being bored... This week I've been feeling a bit run down (so I'm blaming that for the picking at the wrong foods).
On Tuesday Phil is going to start W/W with me - we aren't going to any classes, just going to stick to the points and help each other out even more than he is doing at the mo.  He's got a right beer belly on him this past couple of years and even though he cycles to work every day he's not getting any thinner (probably cos of the ale and the bad eating habits).

Well, it's turned 1am, and I'm not tired - I know that sleeping can be disrupted by the reds, but I just don't seem to need as much sleep at night... I don't feel tired, or maybe it's cos of the Xmas break and my body clock is playing tricks?

Did I mention that my brother is getting married in Milan this September?  Well, he and his fiancee are coming over to the UK for the weekend of my 40th next month.  I'm really looking forward to meeting her.  I'd like to lose another stone by then.
I'm already worried as I'm sure she'll be glamorous and sophisticated - like Sophia Loren and there I'll be - like Waynetta Slob   lol

Right, I'm off to bathe in ewe's milk and root through the wardrobe for something "designer" to wear - I'm torn between the Jeff Banks Shower Curtain and the Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen Wallpaper!?
