Week one was great I even weighed in at 27 6lbs on Sunday morning but for some reason I feel desperately hungry this week and although I have not been stuffing myself with anything bad, I seem to be sitting at 27 10lbs and just not moving.

I don't know if I'm retaining water as I'm drinking loads but I can't explain the 4lb weight gain this week. I am still 4lbs down on the start weight though.

Felt like I've had less energy this week too and a lot more tired.

Sleeping is great at the moment. My joints don't ache at night now and I guess that's the reduction in food and the elimination of junk foods.

I didn't splurge on my birthday. The birthday cake is sitting going off as I can't stomach it. I got no chocolates or sweets or anything like that, so am a little flummoxed.

Let's hope it's a non-moving blip and I find I've lost more by the end of the month. Today is day 14 of being on the Reds.

Sorry I was testing for my ticker. I set this at the 4lbs so as not to fool myself.

Well after the angst of yesterday, I got on the scales after eating this morning and lo and behold, back to 27.7 so have updated the ticker before it changes it's mind! LOL

Feeling VERY tired today.I am having a bit of a hungry day today again, let's hope next week these reds kick back in and stop the hunger pangs.

I am certainly eating less though, even if it isn't always good - one slip up this morning! Otherwise all else appears fine at this time.

Still look like an over-inflated Michelin Woman though!

Hi MoonGoddess,
was wondering if you weigh yourself at the same time in the day?
Your weight fluctuates throughout the day so you should be weighed at the same time in the day as the last time. (This might explain the gain you had).

Hi YM

Yes I usually weigh myself in the morning. And yesterday I was down to 27.6 - quickly update ticker before the scales change their mind. I checked twice in the day and it was still 27.6.

This morning 27.9 - bah. Must stop weighing every day.

On the brighter side, I told my OH how much I have lost and showed him his 500g tub of marg. I told him I had lost 8 of those - which when you think about it is quite a lot! I also worked out we have 8 main organs in our bodies and that means I have lost one pound of fat from around each of them!

Still not eating rubbish and still feeling full. Sleeping is fine but I am still a little tired today. Still going through fizzy water like it's going out of fashion! LOL

Had a little bit of constipation, (oh no, she's mentioning toilet things!), so all day yesterday I felt stuffed full on a bowl of crunchy oats and a chicken salad!

I have a wardrobe of clothes which I need to lose a stone or two to get into and some which were bought for me which I need to lose at least 4 stone for - so the inspiration is there! Though with the cost of living going up, the eventual cost of bras for my reducing boobs may frighten me!

Today has been a non-hungry day.

I say non-hungry, even the hungry is nothing compared to how hungry I USED to feel!

Breakfast was my usual Crunchy Oats and lunch was VERY bad - three sandwiches *O.M.G.* with Parma ham in. Parma ham is about the only thing I can eat in sandwiches now without getting an allergic reaction, so parma ham it was. Dinner was packet of moroccan style cous cous with a grilled turkey breast, tinned tomatoes, sweetcorn and mushrooms - delicious!

Had a bit of an upset tummy today. I have noticed I am suffering with much wind whilst on the Reds - I wonder if anyone else feels this too?

Round about this time at night I am starting to yawn and be ready for sleeps. I feel much more confident on the Reds than when I first began. The terror of the insomnia was awful. I actually wonder if I kept myself awake because my mind said I shoud be? Pah, I dunno.

I am determined to at least drop the kilo for this week's challenge, if not the 2kg. Another 4lbs off would have me nearing the stone mark - oh yessssss!

Need to lose 3 stones 12lbs to reach my first goal - being able to use the Wii Fit. 54lbs, well 55lbs to be on the safe side. The Wii Fit only goes up to 23 stones 8lbs. It cost me muchos money AND I got it on the first day it was released, so it would be nice to use the damn thing!

Getting sleepy now and the dog is demanding his walk - I refer to him as the Padmaster General on account of his padding up and down the hall for a walk!

Why do I sit and watch "In the Night Garden" when I don't have children? And can I go for a ride in the Plinky Plonk?

I'm feeling a little reassured by your post MoonGoddess.  The last week I've just been too awake at night but hopefully my body will adjust like yours seems to have.

As for Night Garden it's just so bizarre you can't stop staring at it!!  My little one had a brief interest in it but thankfully he seems to have forgotten about it. Very odd show and does nothing for language skills!

Keep going with the diary.
