hi Mummy G
that's great! well done. I've barely lost anything this week on the scales but my body is getting smaller.  am fitting into things that 3 weeks ago even i couldn't.

also love your new photos you've added. what a great weightloss history you're creating.  i can see the weightloss in your face already.

can i ask where on your thigh are you measuring or do you have pretty slim legs in comparison to the rest of your body?  i just ask because i also measure myself - have for years. and the last time i had 23 inch thighs (the largest part of my thigh close to the top) was when i weighed 61 kilos!  i've got pretty big muscular legs. huge sporty looking calves and thighs even when i'm very slim.  so you must have lovely slim legs. Lucky you!!!

here are my current measurements (to give you a body comparison)
Weight: 12st4
Waist: 33 inches
Hips: 37.5 inches
Bust:  38 inches
Arm: 11.8 inches
Upper Thigh: 26.4 inches
Just above knee:16.5 inches

take care and have a good week
cheers geminigirl

Hi geminigirl, I measure just a few inches below my private bits!!

Wow it really is amazing how those extra inches in height really make a difference to your appearance - I'm a wee fat dumpy thing whereas your tall and slender, yet you weigh more than me just now (only 4 lbs right enough) but your waist etc is much smaller than mine, but not to worry hopefully i'll be there soon!!:)

Siang thanks, your doing not too bad yourself;)

oh i dont think tall and slender is really accurate!!!

but i also have very heavy big bones.  my feet are 9 and a half and my hands are like a mans, huge knee dones, big rib cage and big wrists so i think that that adds to me weight.  i think i said before that i'm pretty skeletal (seriously see all my ribs etc) at about 60 kg where as a lot of people my height that's a good weight.

it is amazing how all our bodies can differ so much though.

have a good day
cheers

Geminigirl, I think your measurements sound fab, you have a wee waist, and your figure sounds quite figureglass, whereas, check out my stats - I'm shaped like a brick....lol!!

You keep up your great work, your over halfway there!! Isn't it just great to think that we will soon be in a healthy bmi instead of obese!!

hiya
i know where you are coming from but sometimes it takes a little longer to register on the scales when you have been "good" and stuck to a certain amount of calories. Don't let it upset you too much try to keep going

Hi libby, I think you were right, I went back on scales this morning and it says I had lost 4lbs, checked 6 times and it still said the same, so today I am going to change my ticker and beleive that it just took an extra day to show my good work.

Anyway how are you getting on, have you stopped the reds now that your at your target? How are you coping? Do you feel that you are managing especially since you must feel soooooo good!!!
