Ok you lot this might sound mad but last night I was going out to a party and for once it wasn't finding clothes that didn't feel tight that was my problem, or having a bad hair day; it was finding some shoes to fit me!! I have gone from a size 7 to a size 6!! I ended up going out all done up in a pair of Berkinstocks. Had this happened to anyone else??? XXX ali

hi all, Yep, the shrinking shoe saga. I went from squeezing into a 8-9 into being a comfy 7. if i could redo anything, it would be that i had invested my money into size 7 shoes, i now have sooo many shoes i cant well!! x Ali

Ali- so funny that you wrote about this. i had the same thing last night - i wore some boots that i havent worn since before my first pregnancy and last night i tried them on and they fit me beautifully. i was so excited as they were enormously expensive and still in pristine condition and i didnt want to never wear them again. (you all have such small feet, i wear a european size 40 which in australia is about a 9 or 9.5)

Thank god it's not just me!! I have always loved shoes, make up and bags. Because no matter if I put weight on they could always stay the same, and clothes wouldn't fit! But not shoes now.... I won't be burning my fat shoes like I did my fat clothes last week. I just couldn't! I think ebay is the way forward on this one. Then I will have some money to spend on more Irregular Choice shoes!!! xxx Ali

Hi Sarah, Don't know if it happens to everyone but it is strange when it does! I was always a size 6 at school then once I had my daughter I went to a 7. That was 13 years ago! You'll have to let us know if it happens to you xxx ali

Hi Ali, yes same as..I have size 7 that I stroke as I long to be back in them, I lost 3 stone about 2 years ago then put it back on. My spare room has bags of 18's 16's 14's and 7's (shoes) lol. I stroke them once a week whilst muttering the manta " not be long my babies" lol

I know what you mean! I love my shoes (make up and bags) On friday night my other half said ff's, stuff them with loo roll! then I took them off to show him I already had and they were still too big. To top all the girls in the group were all in strappy nice shoes and there is me like a drongo in some berkies! To make it worse I didn't know any of them only their blokes and I could hardly say " Look I normally have nice shoes but have been on a diet so they don't fit me" (seeing as they were all size 8-10, dress not shoes lol) xxx ali
