Hey everyone out there! I have been taking xenical for some time now becuase I was morbidly overweight. At this moment in time I am still obese but almost getting into the overweight catagory! So basically what I have been trying to say is I have been using xenical for a while now! O have to say over the time I have been using Xenical, the price has dropped considerably. To put it in perspective I have compared the price to the over the counter weightloss pill called alli and for 84 pills it costs 150 quid BUT for xenical and the same amount it is only 89.99 isn't that great. An over the counter 'wonder' drug (i doubt it works at all) costs more than a prescription med for weightloss which definitely works. I just wanted to say how pleased I was... Has anyone else noticed this? Cody

Sorry Cody but the rrp for 84 tablets of Alli is £49.95 as sold in Boots etc - not £150. Asda is currently selling it for £34.95. I find it works quite well.

well - I dont usually write on these things but I do have to say that you are both slightly incorrect. Why? I'll tell you... After I was suggested Xenical around a year ago, I bought it online and was doing so well (I lost 45 lbs this year) Anyway, my problems came when Alli came along and I thought i would save money by using alli - basically alli is half the dose of Xenical so you take two to get the same effect. But to save money I tried the course of Alli for a month - my weightloss totally slowed down so I had to take two alli at every meal, to get the full benefit of the xenical. and presto, weightloss kicked in again. What really P*sses me off is that I know for that month I would have lost another 5 lbs at least if I had been on the full xenical but at least I learnt.. So ANYWAY my point here is that, Cody, its not 90 quid and Celt the xenical here is only 55 quid per month with the price changes - so, yes you can take two alli for the same benefit as Xenical but that would be 100 quid per month from boots and 70 quid from asda whereas I just bought my supply of Xenical at only 55 quid per month per month from here!!!..it works soooo much better AND it gets delivered !! why bother with the high street?!? Anyway, not to offend but just to say that I thought i should let you all know.

I must have read the incorrect amount when I was looking at Alli on the internet. As fritty said, xenical works better for me too, and instead of taking a double dose of Alli, and paying more to lose weight faster I go with one xenical. Has saved me more than I thought over the months. Sorry for missinforming you guys, I was in a muddle. I knew someone would put me right. Cody

I have to agree Blondy !! you can get it for just the price of a prescription, I couldn't justify the cost. Secondly though, don't forget a lot of people are desperate so will try stuff to help them on their way, and often that way can seem a very lo----ng one. Jay
If at first you don't succeed........
