Hiya I have been prescibed Xenical to take. my bmi is currently 32. I have read the leaflet, read reviews, read stories now im worried about taking it! I thought i would be told what i should eat but the doctor just said stay away from cheese! my regular breakfast is porridge with sweetner and fruit is this ok? soup for lunch and then something like jacket potato for dinner with beans or tuna mayo? It is very daunting and am still to take the first blue tablet! Help and advice and bit of push up my big fat bum would be of great help! Me x

Thats exaclty the right sort of thing - and just what I've been eating too. Ive been wary of mayonnaise too though, as that can be high fat. Porridge has been my saviour as it keeps me full, with some maple syrup on top. It's hard, but it does work. I'm taking chromium now too, from health food shop, to help curb the sweet tooth.. WA

It kept the weight coming off after I switched from reds, so yes. But I've been wondering if it's more to do with the fact that I've really cut out fat from my diet. I've just come off xenical altogether, so we'll see... How are you doing now mezzanine? WA

That's great that your fellas going through it all with you! That must help! I've done well on this, but it would be good to have a real life xenical friend. I went for some dim sum on the weekend and had mostly steamed ones, but then I couldnt resist some singapore noodles. Not long after lunch, when I'd got home thank god, I had a little accident! I wish I didnt have to be so rigid about my eating. Do you find it difficult to order in restaurants and not pay the price later? WA

hiya yeah i do,its hard enough not eating meat in restuarnts so i might have some fish, but other than that they dont do many low fat tings aye.I would of thought the noodles would of been fine you know,i must admit i think iv cheated more than you, maybe it effects people different.i had an accednet the other morning, scares you to death dosent it,thank god i was at home! my fella didnt use any pills or anything, just hard work, but he is younger than me and isnt a yo yo dieter like me. its not so much the foods i eat its the amount and the fact that i eat all the time, thats why i liked the reds as i wasnt on the munch all the time. I have a few over weight friends, some try to lose weight but some arnt fussed and dont want to try.i need a gym buddy but no ones up for that eaither,or they have let me down in the past.it sucks dosent it! im suprised the pills took effect so quick on your meal out,had you had anything fatty that day? mine normally strikes the next day. mare x

The day before the chinese noodles I had a crab salad. I thought 'salad' would be fine but maybe the crab caused the problem? I had a very gurlging stomach and went to the loo several times the next evening. The noodles were very oily though, so I assumed it was them, and that I'm not used to it. Do you not go to the gym with fella? sounds like he's the best inspiration with his superhero body!
