Hi all and welcome to anyone who has just joined,

just thought I'd tell about my shopping trip yesterday. Went looking for a smart outfit for my upcoming graduation in 3 weeks. Anyway turns out I've dropped 2 sizes, from an 18 to 14 on top and a 20 to 16 for trousers, I just couldn't believe it. Its weird, although the weight is coming off did not really see any difference in my figure so was a big boost to my ego. This morning raided my stash of old clothes and put on stuff which actually fits.As I've been wearing same larger clothes lately maybe thats why hannt noticed any difference.
Even had a comment from hubs that I was looking svelte. Have still got a long way to go but feeling positive and can honestly say that THIS time I'm doing things right and the weights definitely staying OFF!!

Well Done lottie,

its sounds like you have worked really hard and I can't wait to be trying on smaller clothes.

How long have you been taking xenical, or did you loose some prior to taking it?

All inspiration gratefully recieved, I can feel the start of the munchies and I do not want to get out of control!!!!

Thanks Meemie

I have to admit its been a challenge, have had to totally change my habits. Am pretty sure nobody who embarks on this seriously will find it a walk in the park.

Have been on xenical now for 3 and half months with all my loss being on it. Took it before but stupidly didnt make the necessary changes and i quickly regained the weight. Am therefore even more determined this time that its sustainable. Have had a lifetime of quick fixes and realise they just dont work.

I've been going to the gym 2-3 times a week an doin mostly cardio workout but hyave recently introduced some weights to try and boost my muscle mass/metabolism. Am however aware that this may slow down the weight loss but trying to think long term when i come off the xenical.

One strategy when I'm hungry is to drink a glass of water with some fibre tablets, they usually do the trick.

Anyway best of luck and hope you stick around the boards. Have changed my ticker and put on new loss. (just cant bring myself to wait till my monthly weigh in. LOL )
