So to get over my boredom in the gym, I have set myself a new challenge.

Me and my partner are climbing Snowdon at the end of this month!  BNy setting this challenge, now when i go to the gym to work out, I have a goal.  If it goes well, we will climb other mountains and start a new hobby in hiking etc.

Bought my walking boots already and had a work out in the gym this morning.

Off to a good start.

Anyone else set a new challenge for themselves?

I reckon it is really good to have a challenge...

I have recently started boxing and i got a buzz from it so I have started doing it more and more.

It's great to see how my fitness has increased, so hopfully maybe i will have a bout one day...

well both of those sound really interesting: i have something different to suggest, I recently had a Bikram yoha session and I was amazed at how great I felt afterwards.

It is Yoga done in 40 degree heat for 1.5 hours.  It is tough and really didnt think i could do it, but really felt so great for achieving the whole class!

No need to be shy, everyone sweats, you are told to bring your own towel to put on your yoga matt as you really drip like crazy!

great way to lose inches.

I just found a Bikram studio not far from where I live, going to try it out tomorrow morning. I hope I manage through the whole hour and a half!

you will do great, just remember to sit down if you feel too hot, take at least 1.5 litres of whater and don;t be shy to sit down and take a break.  everyone sits through the class from time to time when they feel tired.  Remember to drink plenty of water!

Have fun,
