Fiona..or whoever else might know...I made a post earlier, but I couldn't find a reply. If I want to do some weights at home, what should I buy? And would doing a few simple lifts a day help me with my bingo wings? Or does it have to be in a gym? WA

hey peeps Sorry Whittle...I posted the response in the other room that you had asked the question in. Not been around for a few days. Did you find the forum? I said that either a set of 4 or 5kd dumbells would be good as they can be used for back, legs, chest, etc and also might be an idea to get yourself a swissball(fitball) 55cm if your height is between 4'8 and 5'9. 65cm if over 6'0'. Hope that helps! Fi

hey peeps Kettlebells are great just make sure you dont overdo them, or be too ballistic in the movements...they can cause injury quite easily! did you manage to sort the dumbells out Whittle? Fi

hey peeps Sorry to hear that Issy...make sure you take a couple of days rest now, you could do light walking, swimming but avoid heavy weights and ballistic exercise till your lower back is better. Hope it wont happen again! Fi

Oh dear, I bought 3kg ones! but I used them today and feel like my arms did a good work out. I don't mind getting some heavier ones aswell, and a swiss ball, and having a bit of a gym in my home. With yoga on fridays, I'm hopefully going to see some changes in my muscle tone soon!

hey peeps Whittle, 3kgs are fine for upper body, arms and things...but think bigger muscle groups need more resistance. I will look for some exercises for you over the weekend and post the links on Monday! Hope that helps and keep up the good work. Ive got so much equipment at home! Its great fun, and its brilliant from a trainers perspective as it makes us think outside the confines of the gym environment!! Fi
