Hey ladies and gents! I need to seriously reduce my bop of a belly, it's my worst spot. Arms - good, legs and bum - good, tummy - round and BIG! Should i just wreck myself doing sit ups?? Would love to know what you think Disco x

that wasn't the most helpful of answers there daisy! Well disco, while doing cardio will help you lose overall weight, try crunches or bicycles or the plank on the powerplate machine hold ing for 1 min. Isn't there a class at the gym called abs blast?? try incorperating tensing your stomach when you breath out, maybe you can get into the habit and it will reduce the bop. Issy x

sorry! im not very clued up with exercises, so i probably shouldnt have answered the post. but i just meant that when ive complained about the bits that i dont like to people who are into fitness and gyms, they tell me to just get exerciseing everything, like swimming, or power plate like you said, because you cant just make one part of you smaller!

I understand your plight Disco! I would dearly love to see that stubborn ring around my stomach go. It always spills over my waist band. I can feel a slight tightening from the yoga I've been doing. But I've been doing lots of crunches, and also holding my dumbell and leaning down to each side. I feel like that might be doing some good. The endless sit ups must be doing something for us!

hi Daisy, I know what you mean, they do say doing over all cardio will slim down everything! Whittle, gosh i hate crunches. The person who invented the 1 min plank is the devil! lol Issy x

I agree! That plank position seems to work its way into our yoga class, so I find myself doing it without really knowing I'm doing it! Which is somehow less painful! WA
