A friend took me along to this class last night - called Beautcamp Pilates. It's pilates exercises on a machine with springs and sliding platforms. There are stirrups to put your feet or hands into attached to springs as well. Its pilates but with much more tension. It was incredible! I found it hard work, but as you spend much of the time sliding on your back, it almost feels like you are lying down relaxing. Today I feel completely exhausted. Like I have been stretched - but nothing hurts. As its so powerful they don't expect you to do more than two sessions a week. I loved it! Pilates has totally changed the shape of a friend of mine. And now that I've lost quite a lot of weight, I need to strengthen my core. Anyone else tried it? WA
