hello i have recently taken up walking/jogging and was wondering if anyone had any tips or could recomment a heartrate monitor. i know they are a good way to track your progress and general fitness levels but there are so many to choose from i dont know where to start.... anyone use them at the moment or anything gem,

polar are brilliant! just go with basic one as theyre good enough..

my husband bought me a polar one last week in a lush berry red colour, its fab easy to use looks nice and does what its suppose to!!!x

i agree and polar works with machines in some gyms as well.

I need to get a heartrate monitor but the Polar ones seem so expensive..at the same time I think that they are the only ones that work with the machines in my gym. Does anyone know of any other ones that work with the usual machines..somethimng on a reasonalble budget? Thanks Kx
