on ED drugs? I've accepted that I need to try something now, as my 'joke' problem has become more serious of late. I don't think I can ignore it, or pretend that its part time. Its only been a problem in the last few months. If I start taking pills for it, will I then become reliant on them? Or is this a phase, and then at some point, I'll go back to 'normal'? I'm in my 30's. Anyone been in a similar situation? Cheers for the help, P.

ok, well I don't think they are addictive. As I mentioned before, I've taken Cialis and I don't think I'm dependent. When I take the pills obviously I know its a sure thing, so that takes away the worry. but Ive been doing other things, changing my lifestyle to improve matters naturally, like being healthier and exercising. And I think its having an effect...

I thought it might be worth mentioning that the body takes four times as long to get rid of Cialis than to eliminate Viagra. So that means that Cialis will accumulate in the body if taken regularly. I did find that a single dose still had an effect a day and a half later. So at the beginning i took a tablet every other day, knowing i could have sex whenever I wanted with out worrying Id have problems. I think that confidence boost may have triggered something, as well as my lifestyle choices. Becasue I dont use Cialis as much as I used to, but I still manage to have sex regularly and successfully.

Why doesn't everyone choose cialis over Viagra then, if the effects are more pronounced and last longer? cheers, P

I think people are choosing Cialis now, its just that Viagra got onto the market first and they had a massive marketing campaign. Try them both and see what you think.

I just thought I would let you know how I came to use ed meds. For some time I had an erectile problem and I became very depressed at the whole thing and having something wrong with me, it hit me psycologically and I feared getting into a relationship with a woman. I found the courage to speak to my doctor about it and I was prescribed Viagra. I couldn't believe that my problem was lifted. I feel like I was given a new lease on life becuase I certainly wasn't living it to the full. I use both cialis and Viagra. I keep Cialis for special weekends with my lady. Viagra I use on a whim through the week. I am dependant on it because I have ED problems. I am not addicted. I hope this helps. Tommy

hello does this mean that viagra and cialis are addictive in terms of the body getting hooked on them permanently? or is it more of a pychological addiction? I also had suffered ed problems for a few years and am looking for something to help me out, although not sure whether it will be on a temporary basis or permanent. Do you think that ed problems will go away once the confidence comes back? or are they permanent too? DP

I think it defintely boosted my confidence. I'm still young, so I think it was a bit psychological too. I dont use them as much now. Like I said on another post - I wouldn't defintely use viagra and cialis together, as it can be dangerous. I've used both intermittently, but I wouldnt do what Tommy was saying, unless your doc said that was cool. Derek, I dont reckon these pils are addictive at all. you just take em when you need to.

I am also quite young to have ed problems but it shiften when I got my confidence back also. I think youth is on my side though and I don't use viagra as much. I think that using ed meds can help you psycologically but if you have physical issues that can't be helped even if you get your confidence back then you should know you may need Viagra/Cialis long term. Not because of addiction but becuase you need them to function. DT
